EXPOSED ROLLER CANTILEVER GATE SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS
External Roller Assembly shall consist of a minimum 7.0" diameter, 3.50" wide MC Nylon compression molded wheel which shall rotate upon bearings that shall rotate upon a 1.00" hardened steel main shaft and enclosed by an integral polyurethane cover for safety. A graphite-impregnated MC Nylon wheel shall be employed to reduce the effective drag co-efficient, and to prevent wearing off the galvanizing of a galvanized steel pipe-frame gate. Bearings shall be rubber-sealed and permanently lubricated, and shall have a dynamic load rating of 15,000 pounds per bearing. The 1.00" hardened steel main shaft shall have means of adjusting the Nylon roller laterally for proper gate alignment. The Mounting Hardware supplied shall be appropriate for mounting the Cantilever Gate Roller System to 4" or 6", round or square posts. Gate Opening Size shall not exceed 30 feet, with an overall length not to exceed 45 feet.

Your 2" square upright members are welded to the track and rail combo top member creating evenly spaced bays never more than 8' wide. (For the strongest gate the bays should not be wider than the height of the gate).
With our E/Z Slide ™ Track and Rail combo you can construct your own aluminum enclosed track gate system. Our one piece track and rail combo (alloy 66061-T6) becomes an integral part of your cantilever gate frame. r"""::::=-==rtY'

T he bottom member of the gate frame (either 2x2 or 2x4 depending upon length of gate) is welded to the upright members creating a lightweight but. rigid frame;

Bracing should be accomplished by using welded corner braces (detail D). Aircraft cable or s. s. truss rods may be used. It is recommended that you not bolt through the top or bottom frame members as these holes will gradually wallow open and ultimately weaken the structure.
