Consent to Use of Photographic and Video Images

Registration and attendance or participation at the IDA Annual Conference and its affiliated meetings and events constitute an agreement by the registrant for IDA and its affiliates to use and distribute (both now and in the future) the registrant or attendee’s image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions, and audiotapes of such events and activities.

We make every effort to accommodate those with disabilities. Please indicate specific needs during the registration process, and an IDA representative will follow up with you.

First-Time Attendees

Get tips on how to make the most of your conference experience from IDA’s page for first-time attendees: DyslexiaIDA.org/Conference. Certificates of Attendance Certificates of attendance will be automatically emailed to all attendees following the conference and may enable participants to register their credit with the appropriate licensing boards or associations.

Session Recordings

In-person and Fully Virtual Registration Experience Packages include access to all session recordings for on-demand viewing on IDA TV following the conference beginning in November. Family, student and Live Stream Only package holders can purchase sessions recordings on-demand beginning in December.

Science Of Reading Content Power Sessions

Science of Reading Content Power Sessions are three (3) hours of pre-recorded content grouped together by common areas, available on the IDA Streaming Channel. Science of Reading Content Power Sessions will be released monthly beginning in January 2022.

Session Handouts

Session handouts will be available on the virtual conference platform.

Continuing Education

To comply with continuing education requirements, IDA can only offer continuing education credit for the sessions in which attendees are registered. Please see page 8 for more information on continuing education.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

All cancellations, without exception, must be in writing via email to conference@dyslexiaida.org. Requests received within 72-hours of registration qualify for a full refund less a $25 administrative fee. No cancellations after August 12. All cancellation requests received after August 12 will receive a credit towards the 2022 conference in San Antonio, Texas.

CONFERENCE LOCATION

The 2021 Annual IDA Reading, Literacy and Learning Conference will be completely by virtual delivery. The virtual conference will offer LIVE Streamed General Sessions on October 21-23, 2021. It will also include General Sessions and Poster Session On-Demand that will be available November 15, 2021. Only registration package holders can access the conference via your desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone on idaTV.org. More details on how to use the platform and its many features will be available soon.
