Editor’s Note: Hope to See You at Our Meeting We had a successful year, ICD organizes events including, evening with exchange student, luncheon and breakfast at Hinman. Our last newsletter won a award for best publication , something I am humbled to receive and share with all of us. Your active participation and involvement made it possible. We look forward to inducting new fellows at ADA meeting in Atlanta. I hope I see some of you at the meeting. Please continue to share news and info with me so it can be published.

Welcome Roy McDonald, Georgia Deputy District 5 welcomes Dr. Roy McDonald as our Georgia Deputy Regent. Dr. McDonald is a native Atlantan . He completed his undergraduate studies at Emory University, graduating with a degree in Chemistry. In 1983 he earned his D.D.S. degree from Emory University School of Dentistry. He has practiced general dentistry in the North Fulton area since that time. Dr. McDonald has been involved with organized dentistry most of his career. He is an honorable fellow of the Georgia Dental Association as well as a delegate. He is a Past President of the Northern District Dental Society. He is a member of The Georgia Academy of Dental Practice and The Atlanta Dental Study Group. Other professional fellowships include The International College of Dentist and The American College of Dentist. He currently is the Vice President of the Hinman Dental Society and The State Peer Review Chairman for the Georgia Dental Association. Academically he has earned a Mastership in The Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. McDonald is married to Debbie, his high school sweetheart, for 38 years. They have one son and two grandchildren. District 5 is looking forward to his knowledge and contributions in the future.
