Dr. John Tullner, FICD, Kilmarnock, Va., has been named chair of the USA-ICD Antibiotic Awareness Program. The ICD has partnered with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to distribute information to ICD Fellows worldwide about antibiotic resistance and appropriate use. Awards

In the photo on left, Matthew Barrick, a student at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, received the ICD Student Leadership Award on May 10, 2019. At right, Sarah Brusko, also a dental student at VCU, received the ICD Humanitarian Award. Presenting the awards is Dr. Michael Healy, FICD, Senior Associate Dean for Student Services.
