With recent International auction success in the sale of works by Sir Cedric Morris, Arthur Meric Bloomfield Boyd, Francis Bacon, Dorit Black, Maurits Cornelis Escher, Alexander Calder, Andy Warhol, Elsworth Kelly, David Hockney, Hans Hofmann, George Rickey and others, it is evident that International Art Centre’s Important and Rare Auctions, promoted worldwide, negate the need for New Zealand based vendors to send their paintings offshore.

As our 50th year approaches, International Art Centre’s experienced staff complemented by well-established global contacts, online bidding and a commitment to consolidate and expand New Zealand’s participation and standing in the international auction scene all go to ensure foreign artworks, prints, original paintings and sculpture are offered to the global market and exposed to prospective collectors in their country of origin.
