BEDS AND BEDROOM

A fresh take

Guardsman’s mattress protector collection has been revamped As part of its ongoing commitment to quality, sustainability and customer experience, Guardsman has rebranded and updated its mattress protector range. Along with the classic cotton, Tencel and Luxury ranges which continue to include a 10-year guarantee, the new Cooling range introduces advanced temperature-regulating technology, designed to help consumers enjoy a more restful, comfortable sleep, especially during the warmer months. Alongside these performance enhancements, the range is now presented in fully recyclable, sustainably sourced cardboard packaging, reducing its environmental impact while offering a sleek, modern shelf presence. ‘We’re incredibly proud of the progress we’ve made with this range. Phasing out plastic packaging was a key objective for us going into the end of 2024, so it’s a great achievement to have delivered on that goal. What’s more, all our protectors are now manufactured to the OEKO-TEX standard, which means they’ve been rigorously tested to ensure they’re free from harmful substances and produced using environmentally responsible methods. This globally recognised certification highlights our commitment not just to what our products offer, but how they are made. Simply put, this means safer products, gentler processes, and greater peace of mind for our customers,’

The newly improved Customer Claims Portal now offers a streamlined journey, with features including an intuitive online help form and improved search functionality, making it easier for consumers to find their policy details and initiate a claim. ‘Betterment is our top priority,’ says John Glaysher, Guardsman continuous improvements manager. ‘My role is

about identifying areas where we can improve and building workable, innovative solutions that ensure the customer is always at the forefront of what we do.’ With several projects underway, Glaysher’s focus is on expanding customer access to services while also enhancing the retailer experience. ‘We’re not just about insurance. Our partnerships with retailers are fundamental, and we’re investing in tools and solutions that make working with us simpler, faster and more rewarding.
