MOVIEMAX THEATRE

Movie max was a theatre in Noida whch was designed keeping in mind the color scheme and the kind of design the developer’s expected. As seen, the idea was to keep the space monochromatic with hints of different colours to create emphasis. A lot of curves being introduced to the space lends a subtle softness and adds interest to the space. Many eye-catching moments are bought into the space creating a different experience to movie theatres altogether.

This movie theater had a linear open floor plan which was then divided to required spaces like the amphi theater (mini max), lounge area, entryway etc. It was planned/ designed carefully to cherish the open floor plan and not clutter.

FLOORING & CEILING

The flooring was given a good thought before designing since its a long open plan and there needed to be a guide for people, hence came up with wayfinding. The ceiling follows the wayfinding with LED lighting being the general lighting of the space.

Audi Entry

Auditorium entry is back-lit. Strip lighting along with blue upholstery runs along both sides of the entry with gold PVD coated skirting. The door is designed to bring in the branding “movie max” with max being centrally placed and “A” being the handle of the door, also gold strips running as rays throughout to add more interest.

Auditorium numbering is backlit with PVD coated gold numbering and backed with blue upholstery.

Kiosks

The self standing kiosks were designed exclusively at the entry to create a more hassle free bookings. The counter tops carry the semi circle design throught the theater for a more cohesive space. The space is well lit with wall panellings and and PVD coating finish.

Mini Max

The Mini Max is a amphi-theater designed within the theater to host meetings or advestisments. There’s a instagrammmable wall/feaure wall for visitors to click pictures. A magnificent backlit entry way with gold detailings was designed with seating and foliage to add life to the space. The ceiling is the emphasis in the space eith black panels and brushed gold trims running all over.
