Walk, run, bike, or roll at interim Place’s 9th Annual Steps to End Violence Against Women Walk! This year’s first-ever virtual walk will take place online, with a virtual fitness challenge culminating in a livestreamed Rose Vigil and Awards Ceremony on Sunday, September 27th, 2020.

Funds raised at this event will provide safe shelter, support, counselling, & advocacy for survivors of gender-based violence in our community.

This year’s first-ever virtual walk will raise funds at a time when they are critically needed to meet the needs of survivors of violence in our community. The COVID-19 Pandemic has exacerbated pre-existing gender inequalities, leading to soaring rates of gender-based violence across the globe and closer to home in Peel Region. This means women and children need your support more than ever.

Funds are desperately needed to meet the increased demand for services. Partner with us as a Steps to End Violence Against Women sponsor to ensure that we can be there for survivors when we are needed most.
