This year’s first-ever virtual walk will raise funds at a time when they are critically needed to meet the needs of survivors of violence in our community. The COVID-19 Pandemic has exacerbated pre-existing gender inequalities, leading to soaring rates of gender-based violence across the globe and closer to home in Peel Region. This means women and children need your support more than ever. Funds are desperately needed to meet the increased demand for services. Join us in the Steps to End Violence Against Women to ensure that we can be there for survivors when we are needed most.
