Eunice Rose I’m originally from Hong Kong. I moved to London a while ago and have been extremely blessed with both a modelling and a teaching career that has given me the opportunity to utilize my passion to help positively impact and enrich the lives of children and aid the environment as well. Earlier this year, I launched my clothing brand The Divine Rose as a designer and all of my profits go to orphanages and environmental protection. I have completed many charity walks benefiting various children’s organizations in my modelling endeavors. I’m incredibly thankful to all the talented designers who have given me the opportunity to walk for them in the show.

Prior to moving in London, I spent many hours working in the less fortunate areas of Asia, where the conditions that they live with are upsetting to my soul. I have been very blessed to win multiple titles in national and international beauty pageants, as well as international modelling competition during overseas fashion week.

I wish to use my titles to further give back to the world and continue to educate our children and highlight the importance of having true gratitude and what giving back truly means, how it impacts many.

Additionally, my upbringing as a British Asian with Japanese, Hong Kong and American ethnicities has taught me the importance of embracing our differences and celebrating these differences within, especially in the modelling industry. To me, modelling is far greater than the glamour you see on the surface, it embodies so much more. I dream of representing Great Britain and my country to help assist me with enriching the lives of our children, and to help make the universe a better place filled with love and acceptance through modelling and teaching.

OFF de Cannes Festival.

What is the OFF de Cannes festival?

The OFF de Cannes festival is a French organization who discovers talents and put them under the light lime of the Cannes Film Festival. We produce films that will be under the spotlight tomorrow. Founded in 2005 by Alain Zirah, this organization have gathered a pool of talents who are often multidisciplinary artists with whom we involve them in events, films projects, photo shootings, painting exhibitions, musical showcases and literary meetings. In different cities. Since 2011, the OFF de Cannes festival have grown with the Great International Web Contest, created by Anne Gomis. A jury of professionals select the most creative artists and promote their work. In may 2019, the famous writer and businessman Paul-Loup Sulitzer has accepted to lead the events as OFF de Cannes festival’s patron. Known for his books Money, Cash, Fortune, The Geen King, he created a genre with the “Financial Western” and sold 70 million books, translated into more than 40 languages. The team help the artists to produce their works and bring them an international visibility on social networks and particularly among 190,000 international film professionals.

How was your meeting with INTEGRITY’s team?

On May 16, we met our partners Aleah Leigh and the actor Sean Cronin. We started the festival with a photo shooting in a luxurious Cannes villa with beautiful dressed models swimming in the pool. Aleah and Sean are professional and were very kind with us to have good times working with pleasure and quality.

The day after took place the big MAGNIFICENT evening organized by Dragon Lady Productions in that luxurious villa on the heights of Cannes. The OFF de Cannes festival was happy to cooperate with British and American partners. Fashion designers and models paraded in catwalks around the pool where Aleah Leigh, organizer with Dragon Lady Productions, Olympia A Gellini, founder of the World Film 12

Institute and president of the jury for the Great International Web Contest and Steven Nia, President of Wardour Studios Hollywood, who participated in the production of the blockbuster Avengers-Endgame, announced the winners of the contest with Angelina Leo, for the W1 platform. Since 2016, Anne Gomis and I have been co-producing with Gellini the Family Film Awards. The Cannes 2019 Designer showcase & film Networking Soirée was very much appreciated by the many guests, some of whom considered it one of the most beautiful parties of this festival.

We began Cannes festival with a cinema Masterclass in the prestigious Majestic-Barriere Hotel lounge, organized by Anne and myself with Sabine Evrard for the students of Noventis Actors School of Marseille. It was astounding to give some advice to young people for whom the word film corresponds to lengths ranging from 3mn on Youtube to digital series declined over several seasons on Netflix.

On May 23, Paul Loup Sulitzer heads the OFF de Cannes ceremony, which takes place in the “Celebrities’ bar” in Carlton, the famous place where Brigitte Bardot, Anthony Queen and all the most famous people have made Cannes the capital of cinema with stars who have made the whole world dream. The jury was international with french concert pianist Eric Ferrer, indian dancer, musician and director Raghunath Manet, american actress Judi Beecher (Armaguedon), director Olympia Gellini, producer Steven Nia. The famous Tony Stark introduce themselves before the winners are announced.

The last day, the team went to Monaco Grand Prix. From the terrace on the 26th floor luxurious apartment we also could appreciate the most beautiful yachts of international billionaires. A lot of emotions on this beautiful day.

Who are you Alain Zirah & Anne Gomis?

A Z : I am a french complete artist. After 25 years in real estate in Luxury and as photographer, I decided to change my destiny and founded OFF de Cannes festival, in 2005, to help

the multi-talented artists. I consider when you have a good idea, you must develop it writing, drawing, painting, but also shooting photography and films. As a writer living in the South of France. I began publishing a first book, in 2011, about my encounter with Michael Jackson’s father and how Harvey Wenstein invited me in his panoramic penthouse. After God created Woman as herself, my last book is Forbidden to Men. I continue to promote my last book and am writing an essay about Rock music. Who really are the greatest stars and what influences they have had on our life? The rock stars are seen through the prism of my encounters. I also continue the novel from the long feature Forbidden Visions, which we co-directed with Anne Gomis. Another major project is the production of a digital series about superheroines animated by ancient goddess and girl power. A new universe of young masked heroines against a serial killer but also their ex-boyfriends.

A G : Native from a Guinea Bissau family, I was born in Dakar, Senegal. I arrived in France when I was 4 and only spoke in wolof. Later I learned that my ancestors were colonized as slaves by the Portuguese who changed their names as Gomis. I am a real princess of two villages in Casamance, Princess Adji Biagui. At 12, I founded a team of cheerleaders and my own gym. At 23, I did organize “Miss Black beauty queen” and also “Miss Night”. It was amazing to meet all the nightclubs’ boss for a cover of the most famous magazine. After that, I was manager of a nightclub during 7 years. The B52 was the first French rappers’ club and I bring IAM leader to Virgin Megastore’s office where I obtained a contract for a record and get the first part of Madonna shows in Paris. I am proud IAM is now the most famous French rap band.

Since 2011, I’m OFF de Cannes co-producer with Alain Zirah and created The Great International OFF de Cannes Web (Grand Concours International du Web) to expend the event into international. We are both happy of the depth and impact thanks to all the collaborations.

What are your projects for the 2020 Cannes Film Festival?

Finally, 2020 will be the 15th anniversary for the OFF de Cannes festival and a key year. We

have already begun the implementation of a retrospective which could take the form of exhibitions of outstanding photographs of the events of these fifteen years, and maybe a new book about Cannes Film Festival.

HECKLEMANIA DESIGNS Hecklemania Designs?

I’m Tai Coleman from series 10 itv ‘take me out’, however I’m the owner of Hecklemania Designs. This is a premium, high quality headwear brand, which specialises in unique styles of headwear.

What started Hecklemania Designs?

One day I was sat in my bedroom thinking, I had always been a hat lover and a few quirky hat designs crossed my mind that was unique and that nobody had produced before..

I didn’t think it would be possible to do those designs, however I crossed my ideas with a few people and you know like always people have there own opinions however I never let that stand in my way. And now look here I am 5 years later still heckling with over 20 unique hat styles.

Through self determination and believing in my dreams, anything is possible if you put your mind to it.

People ask me why Hecklemania?

Well the art of Heckle is about different forms of communication... like talking, banter, jokes, non verbal also as gestures can be used as words.

(I Heckle a lot as that’s just my personality.)

Mania- is the more creative side of the unique style. This is mixing words & symbols in place for words which would form a sentence.

I have excelled myself over the years of business & enjoyed my journey so far which I wish to endeavour into more success on my journey. The main things I have learned during my journey in business is resilience, self-discipline & determination. Without those key elements my brand wouldn’t be where it is today.

Debarghya Mukherjee

I am Debarghya Mukherjee a Calcutta(India) based photographer. It all started on my 30th birthday,when my wife gifted me a digital camera. I was very excited, I always had a passion for pictures.

I used to paint in my free time, and that camera took me to a next level of joy. I started capturing everything under the sun: from insects to mountains.

Everything was so fascinating to me then, every sort of picture I visited Himachal Pradesh(India) and started clicking all-around. I wanted to capture every bit of this world through my lens, but day by day I started gathering interest in people and portrait photos - Especially creative portraits. Human emotions and different forms of art work with the human body and face somehow triggered me. I started doing experiment with lights, colour and everyday objects. After I grab few attention from locals, I started participating in different saloon photography and exhibition and had some success. My photos were selected in Russia, China and many others countries for exhibitions.

I love studio works, the way we can control light

and shadow and light, It fascinates me. Sunlight,is exciting too but due to lots of heat and humidity in my city I am restricted to work on Winter only for outdoor photography.

Photography changed me, changed my life, it also helped me to rethink everything. Before I was very shy, and not that comfortable with interacting with people, but after few months of photography I started gaining confidence and I rediscovered myself. Day by day I changed. Facebook and other social media helped me a lot to gather people attention towards my art and I am very thankful to my wife for supporting me tirelessly in everything.

People ask me�Who inspired you?�and names such as Peter Lindbergh, Prabuddha Dasgupta spring to mind. But In last couple of years I have understood that, inspiration is not asingle moment more a continuing thing and there is a long road to go and so much to learn yet and all soexcitng.

RACHEL WARREN Hot Off The Red Carpet!*

Following the World Premiere of her thriller starring role in EVE, UK based Film and Television actress Rachel Warren is here photographed at this years San Diego International Film Festival.

A pro of 17 years experience, Rachel has worked with a number of recognised television networks and independent features, all of which have helped craft her trade.

Recently Rachel wrapped on feature: TRIBAL, in which she portrays top billed cast member Rebecca as well as Short Film: ‘The Eighty Fourth’, which now embarks on its international festival run.

This short was especially close to Rachel’s heart given her passion for bringing awareness to Mental Health.

With a focus on Eve a little more, Rachels stunning performance as the crazed, passed-it actor dangerously obsessed with the young up-and-comer taking her roles will leave you speechless and a little scared (If you’ve seen it …you know!)

Eve (Worldwide Distribution: Level 33 Entertainment) is scheduled for a Q2 2020 release. Rachel is set to begin filming her next feature: GIVE THEM WINGS in Q4 of 2019.

Daedalus Pictures Daedalus Pictures is an exciting new business venture and film production company, owned by myself - Jennifer Leahey and my business partner David Magowan.

Daedalus in Greek Mythology wasn’t just a man, but a symbol of artistic creativity in a myriad of ways. Additionally, he showed considerable; skill, wisdom and knowledge. An apt title for the company and vindication of our mission.

Between David and I, we have decades of experience in all facets of the Film and Television industry. Between us we have assembled an exceptional crew, with skills and talent unmatched by any other we’ve worked with. We also have numerous, outstanding, actors - that we are employing currently or have had the pleasure of working with previously. All ready to leap into action the moment we have a role that fits. The faith and loyalty we have been shown has been incredibly moving.

Currently we have a four-film deal with a prominent studio. Won with David’s extraordinary skill as a scriptwriter. Our involvement with them will be ongoing and will include the writing of more scripts, directing and acting, in our own creations.

Under the Daedalus Pictures banner, we have 3 films in the works.

Unmatched – An enthralling, twisting, story of; mental health, revenge, suffering and the effects of misogyny. I will be directing Unmatched and David taking the lead. There is still a shortage of young female directors and a story such as this will benefit greatly from a female’s guiding hand.

One Dead Bitch – An erotic, murder mystery, horror. In this I take the lead and David also takes a major role. We have a well-known director and I will be acting as first AD. The Null – An extremely scientific, intelligently written sci-fi – David and I play newlyweds, very much in love. That to begin with are oblivious to the terror about to befall them. David has engaged a DOP, with formidable special effects and editing skill.

David and I met purely by chance. Our working relationship with Daedalus Pictures, is one of support, mutual respect, honesty and a true and loyal partnership.

SHAKING THE TREE PRODUCTIONS Yet another new film production company, I This little project is just something that feels hear everyone yawn...

But as the name would hopefully suggest, we’d like to try and shake some new ideas loose from all those big creative brains out there! Somehow at the moment, in all areas of creative activity: mediocrity is applauded and rewarded - and anything different, challenging or non-perfect is cast aside. And we exist to counter that.

Who likes being told what to do - and what to sing, paint, film, design, photograph, etc?

We believe at Shaking The Tree: ‘that what we have here is a failure to communicate’...

We’re currently co-producing a feature film with the marvellously mad super-villain (in the movies I mean!), Sean Cronin and Magnificent Films. Filming starts very soon and looking forward to bringing someone’s true story to the screen.

Next up is another feature: Chasing Caine. Both myself and my fellow Writer and Producer, Tony Cook have invented a new genre we like to call ‘Quirky Noi’... Watch this space - cast and crew announcements very soon!

Meanwhile, I’m really excited to be working on something with Aleah/Integrity that will draw inspiration from one of my favourite comic book artists and also Aleahs bold, gorgeous and excitingly eccentric costume/fashion designs!

We’re going to try and tell our story purely with visuals designed by Aleah. Then turn it into a short film that will form the origin story for the main protagonist in a fantasy feature film that Shaking The Tree has in it’s long term objectives.

The artist I meantioned above is Barry Windsor-Smith. If you’ve already rolled your eyes when you read ‘comic book’, please check him out before you judge. I know you’ll be pleasently suprised!

And at Shaking The Tree productions we’re big believers in having fun with everything we can along the way to creating a few things that may just be a refreshing sorbet from the fatty menu of mundanity we’re all being force-fed right now in all areas of creativity!

JASON MATTHEWSON How did you begin in the entertainment industry?

Gosh now there is a question. How does anyone get into this business? I’ve been in the business my entire life. My first job was when I was 4 months old, I played the baby Jesus in a nativity scene at my kindergarten. To this day it was the best role I’ve ever played lol. I’d say though professionally I’ve been doing this since I was 16, so 14 years now. Wow time flies.

Who would you say was your biggest influence in getting into the business?

Some of my inspirations as an actor would be the usual suspects: Pacino, De Nero, Brando.

But for me, there are many others whose work I really admire and I feel as a young actor would be more appropriate to emulate or should I say strive to be as good as. For me the list could go on for some time as there are so many to mention but two actors whom I really admire and respect are Ben Foster and Giovanni Ribisi. I truly think they are gifted actors and the kind of characters they play and films they make and their work ethic is something that inspires me. Theirs are certainly careers I’d love to have something similar to one day.

At what age did you know you wanted to act/perform? Was there a pivotal moment you can identify for us?

I think I always knew I wanted to be a performer. I always got joy from performing no matter if it was music, storytelling, writing, poetry etc.

During high school I never was interested in playing sports with the other kids, I’d much rather be in the theatre or music hall rehearsing or writing. I don’t know there was a specific moment at least not one I can remember but for as long as I can remember I wanted to perform only in later years would I realise in what form that would take.

What was your first project?

My first performance/project was the nativity 26

scene but professionally, I believe it was Joshua Logan and Oscar Hammerstein II’s South Pacific which I played the larger than life LT Harbourson.

How did you land your favourite role to date?

My favourite role, oh that’s a hard one. There is so much about many of the characters I’ve played I love and lots I don’t also. I played a character on stage quite a few years back in The O’Neill by Thomas Kilroy in which I played Art O’Neill. I Art is one three leads in the play. I loved how tormented and emotionally scarred he is. I have to say though more recently, only last summer I shot a movie called Hunter Killer alongside Gerard Butler and Gary Oldman.

Without giving to much away I play Co Pilot of the USS Arkansas. I love these type of action thriller, edge of your seat kind of movies and to get to play opposite actors of this calibre was an absolute pleasure.

What are your favourite things to do?

Now that’s not something I haven’t had the luxury of even thinking about recently. Wouldn’t a hobby be nice lol. I love music, I used to DJ quite a bit all over the world in years gone by, and now if I have time I get invited to do guest mixes and slots in various bars and clubs, which I really enjoy. Music truly is a universal language.

Do you have a favourite movie and why?

I think that an impossible question to answer and I don’t know I will ever have an answer for that. There are so many I love and for different reasons. Like music it’s all about what kind of mood you’re in at the time but there has been a couple that stand out for me of late weather it’s the performances, direction, script, art direction, cinematography etc. Denis Villeneuve’s “Sicario” for me is one of the best movies I’ve watched in a while. The performances from all the cast but especially Benicio Del Toro, who’s one of my all-time favourites and Josh Brolin

and Emily Blunt equally was amazing. The direction and set pieces and cinematography was fantastic.

Obviously Emmanuel Lubezki’s cinematography on “The Revenant” and just “The Revenant” in general and just the other week I got to see Martin McDonagh’s “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri” which is perfect in every way but then Martin is an incredible film maker and one I hope to get the chance to work with in the future.

You are very busy; do you have time for additional training in between your projects?

I try to keep on top of my training. I don’t think that an actor is ever finished his/her training so when I can between projects Ill try and work in a few classes with my acting coach or work on accents or dialect with my voice coach. Learning on the job I find though is where you learn the most I feel and I’m lucky that I work a lot.

What was it like to work alongside Brad Pitt, Marion Cotillard or Jared Harris in the film, “Allied”?

Again just like on Hunter Killer and many of the other movies I’ve done when you work with actors or professionals of this level it’s a privilege. To see some of the best actors in cinema preform in front of your eyes and stripped of post-production and editing was such a learning curve for me. Working with Brad, Marion and Gerard taught me more about camera work on one day that all the acting classes in the world could teach you in a year if not more. I learned just how little is needed in front of camera to give the lens everything. They are also really friendly, caring, compassionate fun people.

Gerard and I spent most of our down time between takes talking about the cricket, which by the way I have no idea about and I’m not convinced he knows to much about either, but an absolute gent of a man.

Do you prefer working in film or television? Why? It’s hard to compare the two, while they do have similarities they are in a lot of ways vast-

ly different. TV is a sprint while film is a very leisurely stroll. I find that with film you usually have a much longer time on the job and the scale tends to be bigger. It of course depends on the genre of project you are making but in general. Whereas in TV it’s a much faster pace and the work days tend to be longer and much more is needed in the ‘can’ as we say by the days end. TV these days has become so good and the production value is as good as any movie.

I feel that the stories on TV are and can be by the nature of it much more diverse than film so at the moment if I had to pick one I’d probably say TV given the quality and diversity of what is being produced across all genres. But for now I’m lucky enough to work in both.

What is the best advice you’ve received thus far, from a director, producer, fellow actor, acting coach or other person?

I have been given advice by many people some I’ve taken on board some not so much lol. I know it’s a little cliché but sometimes it happens to be valid. Never give up. Always preserver. Your hard work and good work ethic believe me will not go un noticed. Be nice to the people you work with and that doesn’t just mean the director or producer but everyone. Never forget, if you are lucky get the opportunity to be in front of the camera you are just a link in a chain no more or less important than anyone else. Everyone on a movie set from the hair and makeup to the costume, the AD’s, the grips and the sparks everyone is there to make you look and sound great. Never forget that and always respect it.

I was also given a piece of advice recently by Gerard Butler, realise the power of ‘No’. You don’t always have to do everything you are offered. That’s something I have really taken on board and it’s really opened my eyes to a lot.

What is your favourite “on-set” behind the scenes story?

I remember a few years back I was shooting a movie; I won’t say which one in Los Angeles.

So we were in the valley one evening to shoot a scene. Essentially the scene was the transaction of a drugs and money deal between two groups of gangsters. There were two blacked out SUV’s

a bunch of dodgy looking extras and a number of guns. We were shooting it in the parking lot behind I believe maybe Target or CVS. There is the terrace area of a restaurant that overlooks the parking lot and I guess the people having dinner thought this was going down for real and called 911.

Now normally a film company will secure a filming permit for things like this and notify the police of what’s going on so when they get 911 calls they are aware and know not to worry.

We very soon learned that production failed to procure a permit when the LAPD and Los Angeles swat arrived and in no uncertain terms told us to drop the ‘guns’ and get on the ground or we would be shot. Let’s just say that took a lot of explaining to stay out of cuffs. I can look back on it now and laugh about it but in the moment it was far from funny. On the up side the whole thing was caught by the camera crew and it turned out to be the best scene in the movie. So every cloud, silver lining and all that.

What would you say is your biggest passion in life?

Without a doubt its films, I have always for as long as I can remember wanted to be an actor.

Kids change their minds on a daily basis on what they want to be “when they grow up” but for me it never wavered. In recent years I’ve started to produce and create my own projects, 4 TV projects, a movie franchise and The Gold Movie Awards in all. I’m really enjoying it and have learned so much, but it’s a LOT of work.

What do you hope to accomplish in the future?

Well as I mentioned I’m producing a number of TV projects which are moving really well and we are working with some of the world’s biggest providers and networks to bring these to you, so I’d say my immediate goals would be to continue to move these forward into production and bring them to you all soon as possible.

Why did you bring The Gold Movie Awards® to life?

Marco and I decided to create the Gold Movie Awards just over two years ago. We saw that

although there are a lot of really great and very important festivals all around the wold, that a lot of the have become inaccessible to the little guy or the upcoming film makers either due to financial oppositions whether it be submission costs or budgeting etc. or simply that these festivals have become too big and too difficult to get your projects selected.

So we decide to create a festival ran by film makers for film makers and give the “little guy” the opportunity to submit their project and if its good enough give them a platform to have their work screened in a professional setting and maybe pick up an award or two along the way.

Do you have a favourite quote?

I don’t know that I have a favourite but yea there are a few that resonates with me. The first that comes to mind is “We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.” Oscar Wilde, “When you know how to think, it empowers you way beyond those who know only What to think” Neil deGrasse Tyson “In a Time of Universal Deceit — Telling the Truth Is a Revolutionary Act”, George Orwell.

Hailing from Ireland, what is it like working in entertainment in your home country versus London and Hollywood?

Which do you prefer?

To be honest buy the time I started working professionally in film and TV I had already moved to LA. My work in Ireland was mainly my early stuff and armature production. So it’s hard to say how Ireland compares to LA and London. The differences between Hollywood and London however are in some ways vast.

There seems to be a system of classism in London that doesn’t seem to exist in LA. For me I prefer LA. Maybe that’s in part down to the city, the way of life, the weather or maybe all of them. I have always felt at home in myself in Los Angeles.

How has your family inspired/encouraged you to continue your acting journey?

My family have always been behind me from day one. They have always supported and encouraged me to per sue whatever makes me happy. I have a very artistic family anyway, so none of this was too much of a shock to them and when they saw I was serious about this and was starting to be taken seriously as an artist they were 100% behind me.

Please share your favourite positive audition story.

I booked the job. Does that count? lol Please share you’re most embarrassing / awkward / odd audition story.

I don’t know if you would consider it an audition but number of years ago I interned for Patrick Stack of Out of Pocket films at his Sony studio’s office in Culver City. I got a call from a friend to tell me that I had a meeting at Patrick’s off that afternoon. I was lead to believe it was a very unformal meeting. I was on the beach in Santa Monica that afternoon and left straight from the beach in my board shorts and went straight to Sony to meet with Pat. When I got there I was met by a line of guys up for the same position all immaculately dressed in black suits.

I remember when Pat saw me he said ‘we have a relaxed Friday vibe at the office but maybe I have taken it to latterly’ It turns out Pat’s parent are Irish and we sat and talked about home for an hour and the next day I got a call to say that Pat would like to offer me the position.

What advice do you have for aspiring actors/performers who want to break into the entertainment industry?

First of all, I’d say know that it’s tough. Tougher than anything you may have done in your life yet and if you think that it’s an overnight or quick process, think again. If it’s fame you want, then look elsewhere. However if you are doing it because you truly love it and not the gratitude and prise (hopefully) at the end but the process and it’s the ONLY thing you can do then yes

go for it, Always follow your dreams just make sure that your dreams are planted somewhere in reality and what you are striving to achieve is achievable and YOU have the tools, ambition, brains, determination and maybe even a touch of talent to make it happen, and as I said enjoy the journey because believe me although an amazing one it’s going to be a long one.

Will you please share 5 of your favourite things: hobbies and other interests?

I find that I don’t have a lot of time for other interests at the moment which is fine because as I said you have to enjoy the journey and at the moment I very much am. I have a big love of music, so I guess that would be one of my hobbies/interests outside of film work. I’m also a big foodie and I love to cook. I find it therapeutic.

Please share something new about yourself that our readers would love to know about you. What little secret haven’t you told your fans, yet?

I don’t think it’s widely know that I also DJ. I have DJed for many years and all over the world. If my schedule permits I hope to make a few appearances this year behind the decks but stay tuned for more on that later.

Do you have any humanitarian/charitable outlets you’d like to promote?

I can’t say that there are any that I am involved in or endorsed by but I of course stand behind many of them.

If you could be stuck in an elevator with anybody for an hour, who would you choose and why?

Now here is a question, the obvious answer would be loved ones that have since passed on, it would be really nice to see them again and see that they are at peace and happy. So that’s the serious answer. There are so many people dead and alive I admire and respect from actors to artists to revolutionaries such Che Guevara and Gandhi to Elon Musk. For shits and giggles though the fun answer would be someone like

Keith Lemon or Ricky Gervais both of whom I’m a really big fan of.

International Film Producers Network Firstly, I would like to show my appreciation for being invited to share my company and work through Integrity Magazine. My name is Donna Phillips, and I am the owner of the International Film Producers Network. I grew up within a creative family of artists, watching my father, artist Jeff Phillips, painting for hours on end and making an educational difference through his artwork. Studying his patience, passion and creativity have been the inspiration towards my personal growth and interest in the ever-moving world of art, music and film. Being a young carer from an early age for my mother, I have always been inspired to help others. Through my passion for film, the International Film Producers Network can help others to take steps towards engaging in career-building projects that make a real difference.

I started out in the film industry working on a short film called ‘Eric’ with Wonderboy films.

This led to working on a variety of creative projects and events over the years and building my personal network of creative contacts. I have always enjoyed promoting and connecting creative professionals to work with each other on different projects, and I was kindly asked to help set up and run the International Film Producers Network by a filmmaker friend, Cristian Reason, who is the owner of Renero Media.

The International Film Producers Network was created on July 1st 2011. The platform was set up for industry professionals and aspiring filmmakers to promote and share their skills and projects with other like-minded individuals and companies from different countries and cultures around the world. 2019 has been a landmark year for growth of the platform, and the group has gone on to attract over thirteen thousand active members, from established film professionals to aspiring filmmakers and a host of

other industry-related creatives.

We now have a special mentorship program to help people apply their skills and aspirations by gaining knowledge from other international members within the group. Our members are drawn from all over the world, including the UK, United States, Australia, Europe, Africa and Asia working in genres like documentary, action, horror, comedy, fiction and drama. We provide opportunities for people to have their creative skills and projects seen by others to help build careers and professional networking communities.

Anna Elena Pepe Anna Elena Pepe is an award winning Italian-English actress and screenwriter working between London, Rome and LA. She focuses on creating great female characters and she currently has an award winning web-series, a short film and a full-length film on their way.

That sounds quite a lot for a girl that comes from a small town in Italy, how did you start?

The first step was winning a studentship to go to London and then train at Drama School there. After training and working as an actress in the UK and Italy for a few years, expanding my opportunities in Hollywood felt like a natural next step.

What got you into writing?

As an actor, I was fortunate to work in films and learn from top directors, but I noticed a real shortage of inspiring female roles. I studied screenwriting as well and at some point it felt it was time for me to write my stories. I write mostly comedy-dramas, as I feel the best way to deliver a powerful message is by opening people’s heart with humour.

What are your current projects?

One of the projects I have co-written and acted in is a series called “Toto e Daiana”. It’s about Italian immigrants in London and has already won awards and a great reception at film-festivals internationally. We are now producing the remaining episodes.

A short-film to be released soon is “Agata”, which is a black-comedy that deals with violence against women, immigration and clash of cultures. It is directed by a young female director, Aurora Deiana. It was shot in Matera, one of the most beautiful cities in Italy.

This year, I started working in LA as an actress on two very exciting films, that we can discuss in a year or so. And next summer, I will also be doing a one woman theatre show in London.

What were the most difficult roles you have worked on?

I played a murderer for a theatre play ‘The return’ by Sergio Pierattini and a people 36

smuggler in the movie ‘The dancing jellyfish’ by Aurelio Laino. These roles were almost opposite to my appearance and so playing them definitely took me out of my comfort zone!

And what were the most fun?

Doing voices for toys, which you can buy in a store. It is even more fun when I find the toys with my friend’s kids. My friends always ask me to record messages on the kids’ birthdays!

Studio work never ends and with three decades of creating musical product behind us our production roster gets busy with a hint of mayhem most years, 2019 has been true to form with numerous albums, singles and mixes for a fist full of bright young stars.

We have been blasting the music out of the arena with Toby ‘gorgeous voice of an angel’ who’s debut album is out in 2020. Coebe underground mellow hell raiser with his future chilled vibes album also out in 2020 and mixes a plenty for The Loves Lost, Nathan X , Brent O’Halloran, and many more with almost zero time to rest.

That said the one release keeping us all even more busy and now ready for his incredible release schedule for 2020 is U.K. underground retro rapper R.T.Brook. Placing himself firmly in the rap legend bracket R.T. and Zombie have moved the boundaries again by writing, recording, mixing and producing R.T’S hotly anticipated debut album ‘21 days’ over (yes you guessed it) a 21 day epic studio session with barely a break for lunch. The outcome is a retro fuelled 14 track classic rap album bending genres and blurring the way ahead. The 2020 release schedule is just about as quirky. R.T will be releasing a track every 21 days over a 294 day period aiming to allow natural gravity to take him forward in this ever mutating scene. Having gained support from the lovely Wildwood Music People to get his feet firmly planted in the studio with Pete, R.T is now hot on the heels of some of the biggest U.K rap names as Camilla from The Wildwood Music People explains: ‘Women maybe aren’t the first people you think of as rap music fans and although my business investment tastes usually sit firmly in Pop Music and modern Blues when I first heard R.T’S original demo I knew his tone hit a spot missed by most rap voices in the current climate. With the release schedules in place already it is already looking like 2020 will be a roller coaster year for everything Vertical Rooms. Alongside Toby, R.T.Brook and Coebe album releases we also have a single release from Vr homegrown festival legends My Bad Sister as well as an album from guitar crossover legends The Loves Lost which is fast gaining industry respect.

As well as our involvement with all our label and production clients after constantly being asked about production masterclasses we are proud to be launching our specialist weekend writing camps. These will be based at award winning Vertical Rooms studio passing on some of our vast industry knowledge. DEBBIE JACOBS ROCK Born and raised in Baltimore, MD, Debbie Rock grew up singing in church, with dreams of become a famous singer.

She accomplished that dream, but success didn’t stop her from reaching back to help others.

Rock was a national disco recording artist who performed in the 1970s as Debbie Jacobs (“Don’t You Want My Love”), which gave her a national platform. It was during that time that Rock recalls witnessing the devastation of AIDS, particularly in the gay community.

“I couldn’t stand by and do nothing. I made it my mission to become an advocate for those impacted by this dreadful disease,” Rock said.

Along with other artists, Rock would finish paid performances and later appear at fundraisers for community-based organizations who were providing critical services to those affected

by HIV/AIDS. “When I witnessed the impact that HIV was having on the African American community, I returned to Baltimore and started the first day and respite program for children and families impacted by HIV, named “Baltimore Pediatric HIV Program”, Rock stated.

She later founded LIGHT Health & Wellness, located in the heart of West Baltimore, encompassing child care, family support and health education programs. LIGHT’s mission is promoting the health, wellness and education of children, families and individuals impacted by health and social disparities.

(UK’s Hott Talent) Multi-talented DJ Nathan X, co-formed The HouseBreakerz – an exciting music act which was snapped up by Basement Jaxx themselves on Atlantic Jaxx Recordings.

Nathan loves collaborating with other artists and developing his musical creativity. Working with some of the biggest names in the business including Aluna George, Basement Jaxx, Stereo Mc’s he’s also remixed for London Records Shaznay of (All Saints) fame and also remixes out on Fat Boy Slims label as The London Punks (his alta0 ego project) as front man for his live dance outfit and working with Stereo MC’s on their latest album - which went on to be signed to K7 records.

PHEVER

What is PHEVER you may ask? Is it a mood, or even a condition? Is it a weekend feeling?

Maybe it’s all those and more...

The name is a title from an unreleased House music track by Irish DJ/Producer Dean Sherry (PHUNK’DUP “phever”), and after much name searching for a new ‘brand' name title following a successful stint running large clubnights for established brands such as Ministry of Sound around Ireland. The team realised they needed their own entity to try establish some original recognition of an Irish-based underground electronic music brand, although that meant re-starting at the very bottom of the ladder of awareness. Dean registered the PHEVER brand and initial broadcast platform in 2014 as a means to advertise independently events he was involved in with than a brand; it’s a lifestyle.

The platform started to gain traction and within a few months became the no1 source for underground music on the airwaves, and was building a strong team of talent using the facility. A means to be seen & heard, noticed and established, a creative space run by DJs and for DJs (and producers/creatives).

Right from the get-go, they had the unique vision to also broadcast online and visually not only on older analogue mediums but the digital & mobile worlds, the PHEVER was first of it’s kind to do so, and on multiple streams simultaneously plus constantly 24/7/365, so this fledgling entity evolved into PHEVER:TV-Radio; listenership of which globally is reaching up to 400K average weekly combined viewers/listeners & followers all around the globe…!

Dublin-Based but broadcasting online to the planet this is a very unique music & arts platform and professional medium for new talent to be heard internationally.

With a string of club & venue events under their belt the team launched SOLAS Festival in 2017 and have run this mini-festival and grown it over the last 2 years - with sole aim to promote the Irish underground, new & established artists & DJs, all together for 1 day a year in aid of mental health awareness and suicide prevention charities. Specific specialist events continue and will evolve, with strong focus always on quality, consistency and musical integrity.

The team has successfully remote-broadcast events this year live from Amsterdam’s ADE festival, the District 8 closing party, plus Flame and Life Festivals.

They have developed the Shooting Gallery, a monthly highlight guest talk-show orientated review panel, and next year will launch another monthly tutorial-based live discussion show, as well as further plans for artist development, publishing & label as well as production academy.

Simon Kindleysides I’m Simon Kindleysides, no, not a made up name, I’m 35 from Norwich in United Kingdom, I’m a father to 3 amazing children but back in April 2013 I became paralysed due to a inoperable brain tumour, Now some would let that change their lives because since then health wise it’s been rubbish, from having a mild stroke, seizures, being in a coma, my heart stopping so I needed CPR, but I didn’t let that stop mefrom wanting to archive my dreams.

In 2015 I hand cycled from London to Paris for charity over a period 4 days.

I’m a world record holder for been the first paralysed man to walk the LONDON Marathon in its history.

Completing it in 2018, I done that in an exo-skeleton suit doing it in 27 hours & 32 mins. I’m in the 2020 addition of the Guinness Book Of Records.

Founded by Singer-Songwriter and Radio Presenter Mandy Lawrie founder, owner of 69X MUSIC 69X MUSIC was inspired by a street band Mandy watched play in Brighton, the UK some years ago. All the members of the band were homeless. This got her thinking, how do these guys get heard? Even if Mandy took a video on mobile and popped it on YouTube who is going to find them? So 69X MUSIC was born; Mandy's idea to capture all original musicians from all walks of life and place their work in one place under the umbrella of 69X MUSIC. 2016-2017 69X Hosted 25 live music events across the UK raising over 5K for various Homeless charities, all the events were supported by Original musicians around the UK devoting their time and talent.

2017-2018 69X launched weekly vlogs and a TV show which were hosted online through Facebook and YouTube, showcasing original music from around the UK and raising awareness of Homelessness 2019 69X launched weekly online show, a weekly radio show with an audience of 650k listeners showcasing original ROCK music from around the world to include band interviews, new release videos, gig adverts 2019 May 69X launched a Homeless programme which featured some of the projects and Charities 69X have supported over the years, A crowdfunding page has been set up to help 69X purchase daily items, such as toothbrushes, hand wipes, general hygiene toiletries, clothing, sleeping bags and anything else we feel along the way may support those people in need. DJ Pete Martine DJ Pete Martine aka Sleazesisters and Starlet DJs, DJing from the age of 13 went on to become one of the world’s biggest remixers, performing at such venues in Ibiza, San Francisco, Australia, Japan and the UK, as well as performing in Dublin, Wexford and a short residency in Cork. Pete teamed up with Belfast’s very own Yomanda (Paul Masterson) almost 30 years ago; the guys had their very first chart hit with ‘Sex / Lets Whip It Up’ in 1995 which also featured on Fatboy Slim's number 1 US single 'Mighty Dub Katz', 'Ghetto Girl' and followed with hits by Steps, Samantha Mumba and Gala.

Paul went on to have an international hit with ‘Synth and Strings’ and also hits as 'The Candygirls', 'Amen UK' and 'Hi-Gate' with Judge Jules whilst Pete went on to work with such artists as Christina Aguilera and Geri Halliwell and landed a number 1 single with Leo Sayer’s ‘Thunder In My Heart’. Kwoklyn Wah It was in January 2019 that the concept that would become Ulwazi was created. 2 years after having deep intellectual conversations with family and friends. The conversations focussed on culture, morals, values and principles that we have endured or witnessed in everyday life.

All these things were evaluated and we came to the conclusion that we are all similar in our own ways. MARC SMITH Marc Smith is a highly respected security specialist with over 25 years of experience, a career that started out on the frontline in the licensed premises industry, right through to being a highly respected close protection officer to the stars and corporate business world, His close protection career has seen him side by side movie stars, sporting and musical superstars and seen him work all over the world. His company MAS Consultancy now provides to a very diverse client base through the South West of England.

Marc is also an ambassador for the WBC Cares, something he is extremely passionate about, this is the charity arm of the World Boxing Council, where he helps those less fortunate than many of us by way of support, this support comes by way of using his boxing knowledge, his boxing contacts and free time to put on events and raise money for great causes.

Recently being a part of an accomplished panel of boxing names, he gave a talk on an anti knife crime awareness at an evening with and is regularly asked to attend events, schools, businesses where he is asked to give inspirational talks. Currently Marc is freeing up his time each week to deliver free boxing training to the local YMCA, giving the residents boxing training, the effects of which are nothing short of amazing, the confidence, self worth and happiness the men and women get learning the new skills have been so great to see and they can’t wait for their next lesson.

Now Marc has taken his very obvious protective instinct, along with his love for being able to inspire others and combined it with his wanting to care for and help better other people’s lives to the next level, he currently has began 70

the path to become a life coach. Marc wants people to understand the true power that is inside of them and fully understand themselves, helping them to aspire and achieve their goals, dreams and helping them to live their best life.

Marc who is also a WBC Cares Boxing Academy boxing coach as well as gym, fitness instructor, feels that fitness, wellbeing and being physically active play a huge part in people being able to live their best life. He also believes that with the right support, belief from others and a passion people can achieve their dream job, sporting goal or the life they want, they just need that little bit of guidance and someone to trust, which is where he can help.

My name is Deen Storm some may know me by my artist name Stormz. I come from a Graphic design and art background. My late father was a Commercial Designer and video/photographer.

I started the video trend in the early 80s for filming shows and weddings in the north of England.

By the age of 12 I was filming with him on a 3 camera set up while he edited live on the stage shows we filmed.

After working in Aviation Defence I presented a radio show with sky digital for 7 years and than worked as an AnR and music management setting my own record label up. Locked on was my nickname from the defence job, which I used as a strap line on my radio show.

I progressed in to music videos and due to some issues with the type of music and visuals the videos were banned in the uk.

By this stage I firmly wanted to carry on due to the issues I moved in to another area of filming for a little while at least which was Fashion.

This year since Feb 2019 after being motivated by a close friend and photographer I have been filming and editing fashion shows and events. Having started of in Feb 2019 fashion week the whole fashion visual scene was new to me, from the fashion shows its extended to events, club nights, commercial adverts for business, and directing and post production services.

The initial target was to film 10 shows, and evolve from there however as of December 2019 il be reaching my 20th. I work and edit solo, however I am building a small team as there are some sporting events we will be filming for digital tv.

What is a typical show shooting like ?

Normally its a 6pm start, and 11pm finish than part -edit from 12am to 5am, plus the travelling in between, so far its been the same for most of the 18 shows. Than for the next few days the edit continues till the final version is finally mastered.

Its hard work and not for the faint hearted. Its important to really put in the work to get the final result. All shows are different, the crowd the venue some are bigger and more entertaining than others to.

What are your thoughts on the Fashion Industry from the shows you have filmed ?

Its exciting to be in a room or show that has so much importance to all its guests coming to the event, the models, MUAs, organisers so many people involved to make it happen.

I see that the industry dictates how a show must be shown or filmed to a commercial audience and a lot of the visual creation gets blocked, so I do have my own approach to how I film and adapt to each show differently. Next year I will be shooting my own fashion shoots for a few fashion brands and designers so I hope to really put out some strong creative visuals soon.

Whats planned for the future of locked on.

Locked has branded in to Locked On Visuals for events, club events, and also Locked On Fashion, for fashion events, and model shoots.

I hope to expand in to Europe to cover bigger events and music festivals. I also hope to return next year with filming and directing music videos to. Locked On will also carry on with the Fashion shoots and hopefully progress on to the bigger brands. I hope to push Locked On as further as i can, at least before the ‘digital creative crash’ due around 2025 by than most video and post production work will be done via AI. ESQUE PARFUM Creating a parfum House, Aisha is fussy about the spelling, its not what most people would think of doing but faced with a dilemma that is what Aisha Q did. Infact she saved a parfum company from going out of business; A friendship ensued and the lady confessed that due to her life circumstances changing she would have to give up the business. A tad extreme you may be thinking, but Aisha saw an opportunity to work with fragrances that are Vegan, alcohol free, Oil and Oud based.

She was aware the oil scents changed with the wearers body so that the skin’s biome absorbed the fragrance and became as individual as the wearer, and that’s what she wanted to create awareness in. Having just found scents that she loved Aisha took the huge step to take over the business and EsQue Parfum was born.

Given that Aisha didn’t come from a parfum background and is in fact a mother of 3 children that she is raising on her own, creating a parfum business was not on her horizon; a lady making parfum that were not like others. She is using oils that naturally are alcohol free which enrich the skin to create uplifting fragrances. The learning curve was steep, but Aisha was determined and she quickly came to understand essential oils, flower scents and Oud; the tree bark that is so prized by perfumers all over the world and other fragrances that create perfume.

Now having 11 unisex scents, she became very involved with roses. The essence of rose has historically always been much desired however in creating her fragrances Aisha discovered that men and women reacted very positively to her Rose blends. She now has in total 4 Rose blends and they are all liked by men and women so much so that when asked she happily explains that the demand is equal because the rose essence resonates beautifully with man as well as woman.

Now with bottles of parfum and diffusers for cars/ rooms she was ready to start selling her creations to the world. EsQue Parfums can be found online and at events mostly on the weekends but occasionally in the week where Aisha is able to meet people personally and show them ‘EsQue’ which she thoroughly enjoys.

For someone who was initially a person who shunned attention to become the face of her brand has required a lot of self belief. “It didn’t occur to me at first, that people wanted to find a person to con-

nect with; It sounds silly doesn’t it when established perfume houses spend millions attracting actors and actresses to do just that?!”.

Aisha found a lovely person who helped her realise that the parfum alone wasn’t enough to attract people! EsQue needed a face...and therefore she agreed and started getting her pictures taken; and it worked; people started and wanted to connect much faster.

“I’m not a flashy person but being the face of my brand has brought me all kinds of things I didn’t expect from public speaking to being on a radio show!

JUDITH QUIN Laying My Cards On The Table “Eeeeeeeekkk!!! It’s THEM!!”

If you’ve ever bought a deck of oracle cards, or thought about making your own …. I discovered that it’s both easier and more challenging than I thought.

The biggest challenge? Time! It took pretty much two years from seed to harvest and getting my cards created was, in turns, simple, terrifying, tedious, frustrating, exciting, and at the very end the anticipation and impatience were almost too much to bear!

Why did I create a deck of cards anyway?

Honestly? Because one of my clients on a VIP intensive said “You use a lot of oracle cards – couldn’t you create a deck of your own?” Now, I will admit that my initial response was “No.” But the seed was sown and sure enough before long I couldn’t help but start to wonder what I would create if I were to create a deck of oracle cards… so I started writing a list of key card words. (Well – two actually – a sound healing one and a more general vocal confidence/life coaching deck.)

Once the spark had come to me I realised that I had to see if they would work. I created simple draft decks of both ideas, tried them out on people at networking, on my workshops and retreats, and with my clients. I’m going to be honest here, at this stage I was really kind-of hoping that they wouldn’t work, my book was in the process of being released and I had about a hundred ideas and things that needed doing…

Somewhat annoyingly, people really liked both decks of cards – so it was time to commit! I choose the sound healing deck, partly because it was the simplest, partly because I have a vision of Sound Around the World and partly because I had spoken to a couple of publishers and one of them said he’d had several people propose sound healing decks and he didn’t see how they could work.

Knowing that I could make a deck that simply encouraged people to use sound to connect to 80

themselves and provide healing inspiration, I set about creating them. Having written the bulk, my next step was to confirm my artist. I already knew who I wanted, the amazing Amy Bird whose artwork is up at the yoga studio I use for my sonic meditation group. Luckily it didn’t take much to convince her, especially as I knew I could find most of what I needed from her existing portfolio. Amy also created eight fabulous new images for this deck which was a great lesson in collaboration and getting an idea out of my head in to reality!

All I needed then was time …. patience (not something I have bucket loads of) … and a bit of organisation.

I’m not good at keeping long stories short, but for the sake of your sanity – my completion deadline moved from Xmas ’18, to Easter ’19, to the June solstice and beyond. It was in this time that I was able to create the design, research printers (this was a real challenge as I wanted quality boxes and I couldn’t find local printers who could or would make them) and find the graphic designer who could take my design and put it in to the right dimensions and format for the printer.

It was also in this time, waiting for images and printers, having distanced myself from the writing, that I was able to really clarify it – including making a few important core changes. Then, just before sending them off to the printer I realised that the background colour of one of the cards was wrong – and Amy changed it for me.

If I’d pushed them through any quicker, they’d have been wrong.

So now … they are here … and “Eeeeeeekkkk!”

I love them. What’s more important, so do the people who are using them.

DEBORAH GRIFFITHS My name is Deborah Griffiths and I am an independent model from Stockport, Manchester. I am in full time employment as a Business Travel Consultant for a travel management company I took part in competitive gymnastics from the age of 4 years old and retired when I was around 17 years old. In my time I also became a coach, choreographer and regional judge In 2008 I did my first photo shoot which was for a bit of fun, but it wasn’t until 2018 I chose to pursue it further. In February 2018 I took part in the north West Calendar Girls competition where I became one of the top 60 out of 720 females and took part in the grand finals in Liverpool. It was an amazing experience, something that I had never done before and found that it helped boost my confidence. In 2019 I competed again and made it once more to the grand finals, this time out of around 1000 females.

Through my modelling during 2018, I came across the opportunity to take part in the prestigious Ms. Galaxy UK Beauty Pageant and did not hesitate to sign up. On the 8 th March 2019 I represented my hometown as Ms. Stockport Galaxy 2018/19 grand finals where I became top 10 in the UK. I have retained my title as Ms. Stockport Galaxy 2019/20 ahead of the finals in March 2020. During my 2019/20 rein I have been building on my platform which is to help those who are less fortunate and raise awareness of mental health by raising money or donating to charities such as: The Christie’s (sponsored sky-dive and fire walk), Cancer Research, Rosemere Cancer Foundation, St Ann’s Hospice, The Together Trust, Giddo’s Gifts, Mind, Wellspring Centre, Stockport Women’s Centre and most recently the Trussell Trust Stockport Women’s Centre have been a huge part of my life over the last two years after struggling with my own mental health. They support, empower and educate to improve the wellbeing, physical and mental health of women. I would like to show others that it’s ok not to be ok and encourage them to reach out and seek help, even if it’s just to talk In my spare time I like to spend time with my boyfriend, family and friends, going to 92

the gym and relaxing by listening to music or watching a good movie or a TV series.

Jason Howarth So having done one of the Grenfell Tower tribute murals with Dsire, his family and a few from around that area, underneath Westway flyover/ roundabout Latimer Road London. I decided as a member of Team Robbo and DLC NL plus project manager of the hoodyhandout.com homeless project that I would paint a Remembrance Day 100 years past tribute mural last year.

This year my Sister and her family and I were at the White Cliffs of Dover to view the dropping of 750 thousand poppies over the cliffs. Slightly tearful this time round both me and my Sister.

I had a position in one of The Royal clubs in 1922, a live in position “only chance I could have ever have lived in Mayfair” :) I worked there for 2 years and seemed to be very liked by the Secretary and Commander. I would often see the Royals dining but got even more smiley when one would see Diana. Having lived in Aldershot a few years I was quite use to Squaddy company and ways. I also helped build the Military swimming pool in Aldershot.

Our Grandparents served in the war and my poor Grandpa was a naval gunner. Born in Southampton Barton Hunt fell in love and married Elsie my Mothers Mum who was an Eastender born by the bells. Very poor family but we came far in the end.

So I decided to put together a TEAM ROBBO 100 years past tribute mural. Good runs in my family, My Father was a NSPCC and Social Carer and helped so many families out with issues and stopped so many troubled youths committing suicide with his compassionate but firm ways. My Mother Lili Howarth has been a strength and support in what I do such as Hoodyhandout.com and being a consistent blood donar for over 10 years,( my blood goes to premature babies~) and up until now I have donated 44 pints that’s about 120 babies lives I’ve potentially saved. Then much of my art goes to charity. I guess that’s why I became CAREBEAR. Robbos fkn CareBear oh and Kerry’s oh and Sarah’s oh dear it I’m everyone’s CareBear :) 98

I feel so sad for ALL who lost their lives WW1 & 2 and have made efforts to show love and respect towards people focussing on these tragic events and periods.

SAMUEL WELLS -Sams DesignsI am a local designer, working for a company who supply bespoke pieces all over the UK to well established businesses. I decided to use my skills to start a small business of my own, while still doing something that I love. This led me down the route to making handmade items.

Seeing my ideas come to life from a sketch to a full product is extremely rewarding. I decided the main idea I wanted to move forward with was creating unique Christmas decorations, tailored to each individual customer.

If anyone is able to find something they love doing, I guarantee you won’t feel like you work a day in your life!

I started off by purchasing the kit online to make this idea a reality. When it arrived I started a process of trial and error to get my methods spot on! After a lot of tinkering I finally cracked it, and started producing work I am proud of. The quality of this work exceeded my expectations and am still ecstatic of the outcome. I decided to move my products on to be available to the public, selling these through my Facebook page called ‘Sam’s Designs’.

To create these pieces I use a CNC laser cutter to engrave personal photos, messages and designs on natural pine slices. I work form a workshop in the comfort of my home.

Customers send me a short description of their requirements and an image. Using the design software I program the machine to replicate the design onto wood blank. At this point I will supply customer with a mock-up image of how the finished product will look. Based on feedback I will change the design or proceed to production.

With the design compete I package in seasonally appropriate, sustainable packaging and deliver the item. I will usually deliver local orders by hand. For those further away I use Royal Mail.

This idea has proved to be very popular and made me a very busy guy! I am so happy with the outcome and has been one of the best things I’ve ever done.

Crazy Christmas My five day journey Integrity magazine caught up with Actor and Producer Tony Fadil last month surprisingly at a music recording studio, and when we asked him why he was there, you will not believe what an amazing journey this Essex born Actor has been on!

Day 1 The Idea It all started on the morning of Monday 18th November, when he was called by his parter in crime Actor, Steve Ward, who said he wanted to do a Christmas song. As always Tony who is known to his friends as a fixer in the industry said “leave it to me”. They got in touch with a very talented writer, Connie Coppard, who co-wrote the song along with Steve Ward.

Day 2 The Music Magic Once he had the lyrics he needed a melody so he engaged the help of a very good friend Clive Jackson, from the 80s hit band Doctor and the Medics, along with Adrian Hill on drums, Jon Randle on bass, Daniel Robert Angelow who programmed the track, recorded his and Christopher Angelows guitars and also helped Clive write the melody.

Day 3 Compassion Not wanting to see such great talented Christmas project go to waste, he then decided to donate the song and all proceeds to a very worthy charity. He then contacted actress/producer Shantelle Rochester, who he has been working with over the past year on numerous film projects and he will be appearing in her new film Stolen. Stolen starts shooting at the end of this year. Shantelle founded the charity Jai’s World Initiative this year after sadly her nephew, Jai Sewell Hughes (age 15) lost his life Day 4 The Gathering They then went on to coordinate everyone together and engaged the help of Elliot Richardson, owner of Highfield Studio, and in Tony’s own words “a very talented sound engineer who brought it all together and made people believe I can sing...”

Day 5 Final Cut On day five, and almost back in his comfort zone but not quite, armed with a camera, he set out to record the video footage to coincide with the 108

track. Now with everything finally in place, he once again turned to the help of Shantelle, who put him in touch with her editor, Marvin Daley who cut together a remarkable music video.

The Moral of this story...

It just goes to show with the pure passion and dedication, the sprit of Christmas and the kind warm hearted nature of all those involved what can be achieved in such a short space of time!!!

Paws2Rescue Paws2Rescue is a UK registered dog rescue charity and our work is mainly in Romania rescuing strays, abused and abandoned dogs. We also carry out continual neuter campaigns, and of vital importance, our education programme.

Our work takes us into the villages where poverty hits you like a punch in the stomach.

How can we help the dogs, if we can’t help change a culture of abuse and hatred of animals.

Our compassion for a starving dog would be fake if we walked away from children, knowing they had no food either.

We were in awe at many of the brave and lonely children, no matter what race they were, and how they survive with so little. We hope that our time with them may make a tiny change in the community too.

Resting with an old lady for coffee and a chat with only a few words, but many smiles, and it showed that sharing love and compassion truly is infectious.

Whilst our main orphanage and low or no income appeals are our Shoebox Campaigns at Christmas and Easter, we do go and visit the children we know are at risk and often buy bulk food from the supermarket for them all.

We thank all of those who support our vital work in the communities too, because maybe a smile and some happiness means that a dog won’t get beaten that day too.

NoToDogMeat was founded by Julia de Cadenet,a dual-qualified lawyer, who first witnessed the horrors of the live meat markets in China in 2009. After lobbying for the rights of dogs in South Korea, where one dog is slaughtered every 13 seconds and torture is commonplace, she committed herself to mobilise others by raising awareness and to bring about change by starting the NoToDogMeat global campaign.

This campaign began on social media in April 2013, by a like-minded group from the fields of law, veterinary science, journalism and animal rescue – all motivated by their love of ‘man’s best friend’. People around the world responded immediately and on May 18th 2013 NoToDogMeat held public protests for the first ‘World Awareness Day’ against the dog and cat meat trade in over 36 towns and cities.

The charity World Protection for Dogs and Cats in the Meat Trade, the first charity of its kind in the United Kingdom was legally formed on May 24th 2013 and was placed on the UK Charity Commission register in November. We aim to promote enforcement of the ‘Universal Five Freedoms of the Sentient Being’ for the dogs and cats as defined in Article 7 of the OIE Terrestrial Code.

In China close to 10 Million dogs are skinned alive, their fur then sold for cheap clothing.

Frequently, this barbaric cruelty takes place in front of children. Dog meat festivals such as in Yulin are commonplace and there is no regard given to health or sanitation. Koreans believe the more the animal suffers the better the meat tastes. This means dogs are beaten and blowtorched alive and cats are boiled to make soup and elixirs. Imagine a kitchen full of pressure cookers where cats are plunged into hot water alive. This happens in a sophisticated country – the home of brands like Samsung, LEG and Hyundai. In Thailand pets are stolen or bought for a plastic bucket and then sold, trafficked into Vietnam for nearly $250 each where they await the most unspeakable torture. And, in Indonesia dogs are burnt alive in open markets just minutes from tourist attractions. This epidemic of cruelty which extends throughout Asia and beyond has no place in the new millennium.

In May 2013, NoToDogMeat took a short film on the dog meat trade to the Cannes Film Festival (Marche du Film) using footage of cruelty gathered by long-term activist Kyenan Kum from IAKA. It was the first time ever the dog and cat meat trade had been exposed on such an international platform! Since then more videos have been made to show the horrors that dogs and cats are subjected to and was on mainstream media in October 2014 when Channel 4 broadcast their Unreported World documentary Vietnam’s Dog Snatchers.

NoToDogMeat now has thousands of active supporters around the globe. Each and every one is invited to play a part in changing history, share skills and contribute to making a difference. No action is too small!

NoToDogMeat encourages active campaigning from all members and supporters. We pay tribute to the work of other groups – yet after 30 years campaigning with little effect we believe it is time to change approach. Being part of a global movement means every chapter can act autonomously in its events organising and campaigning activities, supported by our London team of volunteers and can access to regularly updated free material available for download from this site. All donations go directly to the registered charity and are carefully spent, with only a small portion spent on running costs.
