Houston Methodist Graduate Medical Education
Vascular Surgery Fellowship The Houston Methodist Vascular Surgery Fellowship is a two-year fellowship designed to train vascular surgeons so that they can provide personalized and comprehensive surgical care of the highest quality. We have a long tradition as leaders in vascular surgery through the efforts of Drs. Michael DeBakey and Stanley Crawford. With the newly constructed North Campus tower and its dedicated cardiovascular surgery space, and MITIE lab, we continue to push the boundaries in vascular surgery technology.

With equal mix of endovascular and open vascular procedures, fellows are given graduated autonomy in the operating room to perfect their surgical skills. In addition, our fellows work closely with cardiothoracic surgery division to gain exposure to proximal aortic pathologies. Lastly, a strong academic affiliation with Weill Cornell Medical College and Texas A&M College of Medicine adds to the academic excellence emphasized in the program.
