My Personal Philosophy Of Life

Personal philosophy is something that plays a tremendous role in the life of every individual. Everyone have a different point of view about life, we cannot expect everyone to have the same philosophy of life. Philosophy of life will be different between each person. Two people will never have the same philosophy of life. Individuals might share some similarities between their philosophy of life but two people will never have the exactly same. I have a strong belief that people develop and shape their own personal philosophy during their whole life. Sometimes we might attempt to think that we already know our philosophy of life but there are some circumstances that can totally change our view. I also believe that our age plays a tremendous role in our philosophy of life. We cannot expect a twelve–year–old to have the same view of life as a forty years old. In terms of my own philosophy I cannot truly say that I completely know my entire personal philosophy of life but I know that now at this moment I am the one in charge of my own philosophy about life. Even though I am 23 years old I still don't have my life completely figured about. I know what I want to do and what are the goals that I would like to achieve but in terms of my own philosophy about life I believe that God is in charge; and that our story about life was already written even before we were born. I can wake up with many different types of ideas or things I would like to achieve but I know that God has the

My Personal Philosophy There are many philosophies and beliefs that can be acknowledged and discussed in this world. Some made up and some that are supported by straight on evidence. Some most would disagree with and others most would agree with. One thing I strongly believe is that there is no right or wrong belief or philosophy, as long as you have reason to what you are speaking of. You believe what you want to believe. Everyone thinks differently. The main three topics I will share my beliefs about are reality, society and fate. I believe in idealism, that reality is a creation of minds. Reality is within your mind. It is what you see and how you feel. Thoughts are so powerful and real, they determine your actions which determine...show more content...

I agree with this completely due to personal experiences that have made me view reality nowadays way more differently than I did before. Society is the way it is today because we citizens, as society, have made it this way. Society is drunk off freedom and believes everything should be handed to them with no questions asked. Nobody wants to earn anything anymore. Society is too concerned with who's running in first place on American Idol rather than who's running the country. We have made certain things, such as expensive clothes and fit, skinny bodies, be glamorized for so long that it is considered as the better way of living in today's society. I disagree with materialistic viewpoints. I don't think having lots of money and clothes and objects make you rich. I believe being rich means that you appreciate everything you have. The "good life" is a life you are proud to talk about, a life that makes you happy. You create your own Utopia. I absolutely agree with this quote by German philosopher,Friedrich Nietzsche, as he writes, "You have your way. I have my way. As for the right way, the correct way, and the only way, it does not exist." This is true because there is no right or wrong way to live, whatever makes you happy, do it. You should never punish someone for living how they want to live. Of course this is to an extent because there are laws made up for the protection of citizens, but so what. As Get more content

A worldview is a personal philosophy of how one perceives the world. An individual's worldview is deeply embedded in their subconscious and, unless reflected upon, is difficult to intellectualize (Sire, n.d.). This philosophy is developed from early childhood and undergoes continual transformation as one matures. Worldviews are a matter of spiritual orientation, rather than a matter of the mind alone (Sire, n.d.). It is important to understand one's worldview, because it is the source from which all thoughts and actions are derived. Reflecting on our own worldviews will help to reduce personal bias that can influence our interpersonal relations and will, in turn, foster respect for the worldviews of those we interact with.

Meaning of Spirituality

Spirituality is a diverse, generalized term used to describe a set of beliefs, or truth, that a person holds deep within themselves. Thus, spirituality means different things to different people. There are multiple philosophical ideals regarding spirituality, such as pluralism, scientism, which is a principle of modernism, and postmodernism. Pluralism signifies that there is more than one view regarding a given subject, such as culture or religion. Whereas, scientism stands to reason that knowledge comes only from science. This philosophy suggests that science dictates reality. If something is scientifically unknown, then it is synonymous with failing to be true. Conversely, postmodernism is a decidedly non–Christian philosophy that
