Where To Ride

The ACT is home to over 500km of designated horse trails, from parts of Mt Stromlo, Mt Majura and Mt Ainslie, several reserves within Canberra Nature Park like Cooleman Ridge and Dunlop Grasslands, Pinnacle Nature Reserve, and the National Arboretum.

The NSW South Coast is also home to hundreds of kilometres of trails scattered through lush national parks, charming coastal towns and along serene beaches. Bawley Point is a popular location for riding with a range of well-marked trails through dense bushland and coastal scenery, suitable for all experience levels.

For young families with horses, there are many local pony clubs across the ACT and around the NSW South Coast. There are also many adult riding clubs, many of which hold monthly rallies and training days, and offer group and private lessons.
