Dear Friend, There are moments in history that feel almost too significant to grasp. This Independence Day is one of them. Two hundred and fifty years ago, a group of men signed their names to a document and, in doing so, staked their very lives on a belief that had been planted in their hearts. They believed that certain truths were self-evident, and for nearly all of them, those truths were rooted in the pages of Scripture.

At Inspire we believe the more you study the founding of this nation, the more you will be moved by how deeply biblical literacy shaped the men and women who built it. They were not perfect people, and this has never been a perfect nation. But they were, by and large, people who had read the Word of God and taken it seriously. They believed that human dignity was not a political invention but a divine declaration. They believed that liberty was not something governments grant but something God ordains.

John Adams knew this. He was a man who had given everything to the cause of independence, and after the dust had settled, he looked back at what they had built and said plainly, "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." He was not speaking as a politician. He was speaking as a father, as a man of faith, as someone who understood that no document, however brilliantly written, could hold a nation together apart from the convictions of its people.

We see the fruit of his legacy as his son took up the same torch. John Quincy Adams, who had watched his father help birth a nation, stood before a crowd on July 4, 1837, and declared, "The highest glory of the American Revolution was this: it connected, in one indissoluble bond, the principles of civil government with the principles of Christianity." It is beautiful to see one unbroken conviction bridging a generation that what God says matters, not just in the sanctuary on Sunday but in the public square.

That is worth celebrating with your family, proudly and gratefully.

Our ministry’s whole reason for existing is to help people become biblically literate, historically informed, and spiritually engaged.

And moments like this one remind me why that mission matters so deeply. When we lose our connection to Scripture, we lose more than our faith. We lose our foundation and the ability to understand who we are and where we came from.

So this Fourth of July, I want to invite you to do something simple. Pray for our nation together as a family and open your Bible. Let it speak to you as the living Word of God, but also as the most historically significant document in the history of the world. And let it remind you that the God who was faithful to His people in the pages of Scripture is the same God who has been faithful to this nation, and who is faithful to you today.

Quarterly Highlights Over the past quarter, Inspire has continued its mission to deepen faith and understanding through impactful experiences in Washington, D.C., and beyond. This season, our journeys have enriched the lives of educators, church members, students, and leaders from various backgrounds. Here are a few of the significant moments from our recent experiences:

Lifesong for Orphans Inspire recently hosted a multi-day Washington, D.C. experience for Lifesong for Orphans, an organization committed to mobilizing the Church to care for vulnerable children around the world. Throughout their time in the nation’s capital, participants explored the deep influence of Scripture on American history and reflected on the Christian responsibility to serve others with compassion and conviction. From meaningful conversations at the Museum of the Bible to shared moments at some of our nation’s most significant sites, the experience encouraged guests to see how a biblical worldview shapes both personal faith and faithful engagement in the world today.

YouVersion Inspire hosted a Washington, D.C. experience for YouVersion, centered on the enduring influence of God's Word. As participants explored the Museum of the Bible, including the remarkable Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit, and reflected at some of the nation's most significant monuments, they were reminded of both the preservation of Scripture through the centuries and its continuing influence on individuals, cultures, and nations today. The experience provided a meaningful opportunity to celebrate the Bible's history while being encouraged by its ongoing reach around the world.

Bell Shoals Academy Bell Shoals Academy recently partnered with Inspire for a Washington, D.C. experience designed for their ninth-grade students, combining biblical history, American history, and unforgettable moments together as a class. From engaging monument tours to meaningful conversations at the Museum of the Bible, students were encouraged to think more deeply about faith, history, and their place in God’s story. The trip was filled with joy, laughter, and shared experiences that created lasting memories for both students and leaders alike.

Impact360 Institute Inspire had the privilege of leading a Museum of the Bible experience for the fellows of Impact 360 Institute, a ministry dedicated to equipping the next generation to know Jesus deeply and live with Spirit-empowered influence. During the tour, students engaged Scripture in a fresh and compelling way, seeing how God’s Word has shaped history and continues to transform lives today. Our team intentionally connected the biblical narrative to a worldview framework, helping these young leaders grow in confidence in the authority of Scripture. It was a meaningful opportunity to come alongside Impact 360’s mission and invest in students preparing to live as faithful witnesses in every sphere of life.

Prayer Points As we continue our mission to cultivate confidence in God’s Word by providing transformational, Christ-centered experiences and resources, we invite you to join us in prayer for the following: Daily Tours Pray for continued fruit from our daily tours at the Museum of the Bible, as well as at the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. Ask the Lord to meet each guest in personal and powerful ways as they encounter Scripture and see the truth of God’s Word on display. Pray for clarity, joy, and spiritual openness, and that many would come to faith.

Students and Young Participants Pray for the students who participated in experiences this past quarter.

Ask that the seeds planted during their time would take root and bear lasting fruit. Pray that those who will attend experiences later this year would come with open hearts, ready to hear and respond to the gospel, and that their understanding of God’s Word would shape their lives for years to come.

Upcoming Experiences Pray for the many experiences still ahead this year. Ask that every participant would begin preparing their hearts even now to hear and receive God’s Word. Pray that their time with Inspire would deepen their love for Scripture, strengthen their faith, and give them a clearer understanding of the gospel and a biblical foundation for life.

Prayer Points Tour Guides Pray specifically for our guides. Ask that they would be growing in their own faith and walking closely with Christ. Pray for boldness and clarity as they share the gospel, and that the Lord would use them as instruments to bring many to saving faith. Ask for wisdom, joy, and endurance as they faithfully serve each group.

America’s 250th Anniversary As our nation approaches its 250th anniversary, pray that we as a people would humble ourselves, repent of our sins, and turn to God. Ask that the Lord would bring spiritual renewal across our country, raising up faithful witnesses and strengthening His church to be a light in a time of great need. Pray also that God would continue to use Inspire as a faithful witness in our nation’s capital, across the country, and around the world, clearly proclaiming the gospel and pointing people to the truth of His Word.

"Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage!" (Psalm 33:12)
