Sometimes we get too caught up in life, but we must make the time for these precious moments, especially for a simple thank you. A simple thank you goes a very long way. A hug, a kiss or something wonderful to make them feel the love they deserve.

I love that I get to play a huge part in many lives, to send the message of a simple thank you or a heartfelt story of hope through my Inspiration 4 Life International Internet Radio/TV/Web Network. GRACE FOR THE BUSY BOSS BABE

BY DAWN HUFF So, we have been in an incredibly busy season at The Happy House of Huffs! You know the kind…where it is 10pm and you are all gathered around the table still trying to figure out how to get something made for dinner? Well, isn’t that how this time of the year works for everyone? School years are wrapping up. There are Senior activities, class parties, overdue library books to be hunted and returned, sports, award ceremonies, and late-night exam studying. As small business families it is easy to add in other things to the mix. We have added Monday business meetings, Financial Class, ASL Class, Bible Study, Church Services, Worship Band practice, and Choir. So yes, 10pm should be an exaggeration but some nights it is the reality. We love it. But we give have fun and give ourselves grace in a lot of areas. Occasionally, I run into a friend who is not enjoying this crazy season and a lot of times it comes down to the household chores… especially the meal times! There are some chores I really struggle with (like the neverending spring of dirty laundry) but meals are my groove, so I thought I would share some tips with you.

1. ONE MEAL FOR ALL! In my house I am old school. I make one meal. If someone has an allergy… all meals incorporate the needs of the allergic person and we all eat the same way. I mean most of the time the person with the food need is forced to make a healthier choice than most people… so we could all benefit from it for the most part. I have never heard of one family member being forced to eat chocolate cupcakes for every meal. So…it wouldn’t hurt us to eat more greens, more natural foods, less dyes, or give up peanuts. So just incorporate the adjustments into every meal.

2. PLAN AHEAD! There are millions of recipe websites, Pinterest Boards, and FB help pages for meal planning. Take some time to decide what things you can prep ahead or make on the fly! I also look for the types of meals that will be filling and plan to make enough to have leftovers.

3. LEFTOVERS! Having some leftovers available really helps on that night you get in late and need a quick meal. I know sometimes people do not love leftovers. In my house if you don’t feel like leftovers you can make a sandwich or cereal. (We call leftover night, Fin for Yourself Night)! It is my favorite night of the week.

4. PRE-PREPPED MEALS! Once a month I put together my own freezer meals. Again, there are a million online recipes that make this super simple and easy. The first time I tried this I was very nervous. But I faced my fears and did it anyways. I was surprised to find out that it was cheaper and easier than I thought! It took less than 2 hours on a Saturday afternoon.

5. GRACE NIGHTS! Give yourself grace nights! My grace night menu rotates through some fun options and have become some of our family favorites! Here are my Grace Night Menu options! Cereal Night!

Potato Bar (Especially delish if you have leftover meat from a previous night!), Homemade restaurant style Chicken Caesar Salad (Grab a hot rotisserie chicken on the way home), and of course the all American favorite-Breakfast for dinner!!!

Most importantly, do what you have to do. One night of cereal or an occasional Hot & Ready Pizza never hurt anyone (Unless you have a gluten allergy). The main goal is to get your family together for that most important gathering of the day. Laugh, check in with each other’s lives, make memories, break gluten free bread together and refresh yourselves for a new day!

By Raquel Hernandez A man who endures trials is blessed, because when he passes the test he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him. James 1:12

David was a man after God’s own heart. His destiny was to become King, but before he did, he had to fight the giant Goliath. He had no fear for He knew who went ahead of Him. Ladies we cannot cast all our stones on the issue at hand (our giants) when the storms of life come crashing in and they will especially if you are serving God we fight, but not on our own strength. We can’t make our giants bigger than God! The word of God says we can do all things through God who strengthens us Phil 4:13. If we dare to believe, trust and let Him leads us, He equips us and He fights our battles. We just need to follow His lead. Let us be faithful and be women after God’s own heart.

What are your giants today that need to be surrendered?

Prayer: Lord I pray that the person reading this devotion may surrender her fears and make you bigger than her giants.

Hi my name is Jasmine Hernandez. I've been a child ambassador for Inspiration 4 Life since I was 5 years old. I just want to inspire kids/teens on how we can have fun and grow in today's generation.

Today most people depend on phones, friends, music, television and other ways to keep them busy. Now, I'm not saying it's a bad thing but I personally love music, my friends, televison and playing video games. I don't think we should just focus on that.

We should be studying or thinking about our future no matter what grade or how old we may be. While you are watching television, during the commercial break, take time to study in between or ask your parents to give you quizes.

Do some fun and inspiring things like that. When you get home from school, read for about 20-30 minutes.

You don't always have to study what you are learing in school, unless it is really imortant but you can also educate yourself on other things as well. For example, if you want to travel somewhere one day, learn the history and culture or the place. You can also learn a new language. This should be so much fun! Just take time learn new things. You will definitely be ahead of the game.

If you want to get better grades in school, ask your teacher if you can sit in the front or back of the class to focus. It is also a great idea to stay for tutoring any time your teacher is available. It will help you in the long run. Encourage your friends to focus in your class or stay for tutoring as well.

I love spending time with my friends, so I also encourage for all of us to join some school clubs or programs together. I hope this inspires you to try something new.
