Inspiring Empathy

The DAISY Award is a program that recognizes nurses who provide aboveand-beyond compassionate care to patients and families. Inspira recognized the following nurses in 2022:

Out Of The Darkness

The Behavioral Health team (including Adult Mental Health, Child and Adolescent Mental Health, Intermediate Behavioral Care and Outpatient Behavioral Health) and several senior leaders participated in the Cumberland County Out of the Darkness event, which raises awareness and funds for suicide prevention. Inspira had 50 walking participants and was the top fundraising team, raising a total of $5,575 for the cause.

Practicing Positivity

In 2022, Inspira held an organizational education program called Practicing Positivity, where employees learned the science behind happiness, compassion, gratitude and generosity. Throughout the class, participants found ways to activate more positive emotions in their daily lives and reflect on how it impacted them physically.

Food Bank Donations

In April 2022, the nursing staff at Mullica Hill held their first peanut butter and jelly drive benefitting the Food Bank of South Jersey. They collected over 300 pounds of peanut butter and jelly to donate to the food bank.
