Harnessingmyincredibleabilitiestocraft,tellandsharea compellingstory,alongwithbeingpositive,thoughtful,and fullofenergy,hasgotmetowhereIwanted—beingtrueto myselfandhavingtheabilitytoshowupasmyauthentic selfhasbeenempoweringformeandmysuccess.Asa mentor,Ialsoinspireothersandcreatethespaceforthemto dothesame.

IfI'mbeinghonest,Ilovetheworkandconversations SimrenandIhaveonWomxnWho.Theyaresimple,

thoughtful,anddareIsay,thought-provokingdiscussions. Somanywomenandallieshavebeenextremelygenerous withtheirtimeandadvice,whichisinspiring.In2023, you'llseemorefrommeandthepodcastforsure!We've evenbeennominatedforaniHeartRadioaward–ascohostsoftheyear(socrossyourfingersforus).

Whatadvicewouldyougivetothenextgenerationof womenleaderswillingtoventureintothemodern businessarena,especiallyinthemarketingand advertisingsector?

I'velovedmyexperienceworkingatagencies–when you'refirststarting,it'ssomucheasiertofigureoutwhat youdon'tlovedoing.Withinanagency,youhavetheability tomovearoundandtrydifferentbrandteams.WhenI reflectonmytimeatDentsu,I'veheldmanydifferentjobs andlearnedsomuchaboutmyself.

Workingwithtalentedpeople,learning,listening,raising myhand,andsigningupforworkatfirstmademystomach intoknots(questioningifIcoulddoit–Ialwaysdid),but it'sinthosemomentsthatIgrewintotheseniorcomms executiveIamnow

Anotherpieceofadviceforwomenleaderswouldbeabout boundaries–Iamaworkinprogressheretoo.However,I trulyfeelthreesentencescanhelpyouunlockgoodtogreat. Theyare'No,''Notnow,''Notme.'Forexample,'No,this doesnotalignwithourmissionandvision,''Notnow Fantasticideabutthisdoesnottakepriorityoverour currentcommitments,''Notme.Soandsoisbesttotake thaton.'IknowImyselfhaven'tusedtheseenough.Most leadersfatallyovercommit.So,thisyearespecially,I've beenworkingondecluttering.

I like to live boldly and take calculated chances, and sure I've quickly thought them through, but I don't get lost in the planning of it all.

Whatisyourtakeontechnology'simportance,andhow areyouleveragingit?

Technologyiseverywhere,andit’sanenablertoall business;yousimplycan’trunanybusinessthesedays withoutit.Fortechnologytobethat“enabler,”itneedsto yieldaverypositivecustomerexperience;itneedstobe simple,solid,andscalable.Myfocusistoensurethat whateverisbeingdeliveredtothecustomermakessenseto them,iseasyforthemtouse,andiswithlittletonofault whenrun.
