Camcorder & Barbie Dresses, No. 2 Christine Stoddard
As a woman artist, I don’t want to be a spectacle. I want to be a creator. Too many women are afraid to cast a shadow. Too many of us were raised to be quiet, invisible, to take up as little space as possible. But I insist on taking up space. I make my voice heard through art and writing. I will cast a shadow. 24 | www.fokus.org

T his series is about my grandfather, Andres Cadiz, and his slowly dying body due to cancer and old age. Feel like the devil is attacking me in different areas of my life, Devil you have to flee, You are never welcome in any area of my life, I will open the door for you to leave, You are trying to make yourself comfortable I don’t think so, I’m serving you your eviction notice, Finances, health, any area in your life that he is attacking, You can take anything that is of you with you as well, You are no longer welcome in my dreams or in my mind, You don’t have free reign in my life but I know someone that does, His name is JESUS, You can take your witchcraft and wickedness with you, Don’t leave anything behind, Take all your lies with you, Sick and tired of all your lies, We need to send him back to hell where he belongs, Need to surrender everything to God.
