Who we support
We’re here for you if you’re aged 18+ and experiencing a mental health crisis or distress.
The Safe Haven is run by Everyturn Mental Health, a North East charity. We’ve been providing NHS mental health support to local people for nearly 40 years.
How we can help
We’ll help you to manage your emotions and tackle the issues that are affecting your mental health, such as:
Financial worries or debt
Unemployment or issues at work
Housing
Relationship difficulties
Social isolation
We can:
Give you emotional support. Help you to manage difficult feelings. Work with you to create a safety and wellbeing plan. Help you find ongoing support from other local organisations. We can help you arrange these appointments.
Getting help
We’re open 2pm-10pm, 365 days a year. You can just drop in, or if you’d prefer, you can book a face to face appointment by giving us a call.
