PUBLISHER’S INSIGHT Reaching all of Miramar and Print Isn't Dead

n the last issue I kind of teased everyone with the pending news that was going to be mailed to every home and business in Miramar starting with the next issue. Well, the next issue is here and we are now reaching all of Miramar. For the first time, all of the residents in the City will be received an informative, timely, entertaining, and business driven magazine at the same time. m so thrilled that so many of the staple businesses that started with us a year ago continue to advertise in the magazine. We also added 13 new businesses to this issue. The need to advertise and promote your misconception that print is dead or on it’s last leg and that online is the end all be all for advertising. I say, “not so fast”, print in particular is extremely important because in many cases it becomes the trigger point for you to read, research and react. A reader sees an advertisement or something going on in the City and then follows up by going to that particular company or City website and getting more information and then hopefully becoming a customer or attending various City events. It’s also vital to hear from our key City Inside Miramar as a resource with the intent of bringing you the information you need to know every 45 hope you take the time to read up on the great things happening in the City as well as all of the Summer Camps you will find in this issue.

I trust everyone is having a wonderful summer and getting some much needed rest and relaxation before we kick it into high gear with another school year. As we all know, West Pembroke Pines and Miramar have plenty of day cares, grade, middle and high schools. Traffic is always terrible for the first month or so, but as soon as everyone gets into their routine, the traffic seems to level off and we all adjust to it. Be patient, try to leave a little earlier and remember that there are plenty of new student drivers on the roads headed to high school. Easy on blowing your car horns and give thumbs up if you see a young driver driving safely as one of them might be my daughter this year or one of your teenagers as well. Before we know it, school will be out and summer will be here. Enjoy As you can tell by this issue, we have some impactful elections coming the spring and Mother’s Day feel to this issue of Inside Miramar in the up on August 23rd that will really affect us in West Pines and Miramar. Redistricting the past year has made this a very interesting and city you call home. competitive election cycle. From State Senate seats, US Congress, School Boards and County Commission seats there should be plenty of residents VOTING either by mail or on Election Day. Please do your civic duty and vote! No excuses, be part of the process and elect the best candidates. It’s hard to believe that 50 years have passed since the Miami Dolphins

Be Patient, Vote and Let’s Celebrate Perfection became the only team in NFL history to go through an entire season undefeated. Many of the players on that legendary team have already passed away including Coach Shula but all season long the Dolphins will pay tribute to the 50th anniversary of the undefeated team. It definitely will be a special year and I am expecting a really fun and exciting year from the 2022 team. Great off season moves, the hiring of an offensive minded coach and Tua’s continued growth should put the Dolphins in the mix for a really good season and a playoff berth for the first time in over 5 years. GO DOLPHINS! And as a Canes fan, I think UM Football might be back as well with the hiring of Coach Mario Cristobal and the incredible job he has done in such a short time with recruiting and bringing a winning attitude back to UM. GO CANES! As always, please use the coupons and download the QR Codes that are being provided in this and every issue. This saves you tones of money and gives the magazine the proper credit it deserves when you visit one of the fine businesses advertising in Inside Miramar Pembroke Pines. Don’t forget to send in pictures of your furry friends and again make sure you VOTE in the two cities you call home. Sincerely, Chris Koval President/Publisher
