Sponsored By Blaze is 4-year-old Golden Retriever that works for the City of Hialeah Fire Department and Florida Task Force 2 Urban Search and Rescue Team. His job is to locate live humans that are trapped in debris. Blaze is the City of Hialeah Fire Department’s first certified live find search and rescue canine. In addition to finding live humans, Blaze serves as a stress relief canine for firefighters and makes frequent appearances at city events. He loves everything about his job, especially spending time with people and building connections in the community.

Blaze comes from a long line of working dogs. Currently he works alongside his father Stone, Uncle Dexter, two brothers and sister Guinness, Cable and Zoe on the USAR teams. In his free time, Blaze enjoys swimming, playing ball and cuddling.
