About Text Message Service Woodruff Electric now offers a text messaging service that allows members to report power outages and receive informa on when power has been restored. When enrolled for the text message service, members will generally receive no fica ons when: • An outage cket is reported at the service address on the account. • If a member submi ed/reported an outage, a text with the cket number for the outage.

How to Report Outages Text OUT to 888-559-6400 from your cell phone that has enrolled for the service. The following are words that you can text the outage repor ng number. OUT

This reports an outage to the Outage Management System. You will be asked which address has the outage. You will choose the address that has the outage. You will be sent a text that confirms you have reported your outage.

STATUS

This will signal to the outage system that you would like a status update for your outage. You will receive a status update regarding your outage.

HELP

You will receive a text that states Woodruff Electric provides automated outage no fica ons and how to get more informa on along with how to stop receiving texts.

STOP

This will opt out your mobile phone number from text no fica on service.

If you send any other message, you will receive a text lis ng all valid inputs that are available to submit. Note: This number is not monitored for comments or ques ons.
