Fruit Pizza

Ingredients:

  • 4 oz. cream cheese, softened

  • 8 oz. Cool Whip, softened

  • 2 tbsp. granulated sugar

  • 1 (1 lb.) package sugar cookie dough

  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

  • Fruit of your choice

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease a round glass pizza pan.

In a large bowl, whip together cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract. Fold in Cool Whip. Chill until ready to use.

Press the dough into the pan, about 1/8 inch thick. Pierce several times with a fork. Bake 10 to 15 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden. Let cool completely.

While the cookie is cooling, drain the fruit and set on paper towels to absorb excess juices. Using a rubber spatula, spread an even layer of frosting over the cooled cookie dough crust.

Arrange fruit on top and keep chilled until ready to serve.
