Win an All-Expenses-Paid Trip to Washington D.C.! We are currently accepting applications for the 2019 Youth Tour competition. The competition is open to any high school junior who lives or goes to school in one of the eight counties served by Dixie. Applications are due Jan. 11, 2019. The Montgomery Youth Tour will be held Mar. 12-14, 2019 and the Washington Youth Tour is scheduled for June 14-20, 2019. Once all applications are received, students will be contacted to schedule an interview time. Interviews will be held on Tues., Jan. 29, 2019. No Bake Cookies Ingredients:
2 cups white sugar 1/2 cup margarine 1 pinch salt 1/2 cup peanut butter
3 tbsps. unsweetened cocoa powder 1/2 cup milk 3 cups quick cooking oats 1 tsp. vanilla extract
Directions:
In a saucepan bring sugar, cocoa, margarine, milk, and salt to a rapid boil for 1 minute. Add quick cooking oats, peanut butter, and vanilla; mix well. Working quickly, drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper, and let cool.

For Dixie Electric Cooperative Member-Owners December 2018
Dixie will be awarding ten $2,500 scholarships through the Electric Cooperative Foundation. The scholarship competition is open to any graduating high school senior who is the dependent of a Dixie member-owner. The scholarship will be paid directly to the college/school that the winner plans to attend. Scholarship funds can be used at a two or four year college, as well as for technical or vocational schools as the student works towards an associates degree, bachelors degree, or certification program.
