Don't Toy With Electrical Safety
Encourage your kids to always use caution when playing outdoors. They should keep a safe distance from power lines, substations, and other equipment we use to provide electricity to your home. Flying remote controlled toys and kites can be dangerous and even deadly if they come into contact with electrical equipment. Never climb trees near power lines, and do not go near a downed power line. Also, if playing games like Pokémon GO, be sure to stay away from electrical equipment such as power lines, meters, transformers, electrical boxes, and substations.
