2015 September Dixie Electric Cooperative Co-op Currents

Did You Know... That water heating is the second-largest user of electricity in the average home? To reduce energy use related to water heating, lower your water heater thermostat setting to 120 degrees F. For each 10-degree reduction in water temperature, you can save 3 to 5 percent in energy costs. Reducing the temperature also slows mineral buildup and corrosion in your water heater and pipes, promoting longer use and more efficient operation.

Ingredients:

Congo Squares

2 sticks butter 3 eggs 6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 box brown sugar 2 3/4 cups self-rising flour
