special guests CHINA CRISIS Wrexham William Aston Hall - Thursday March 15, 2018 On leaving school Paul Young worked with his father for Vauxhall Motors and played in various bands at night. After singing in numerous bands, he introduced himself to the British public with the Q-Tips in the late 70s, but really came into his own with a formidably accomplished solo debut album, “NO PARLEZ”, released in 1983 and including the number one single “Wherever I Lay My Hat” which stayed at number 1 for most of that summer, followed by “Come Back And Stay” which maintained Paul’s presence at the top of the charts.

With the release of his second album “The Secret Of Association” and the success of “Every Time You Go Away” his status as a world star was confirmed.

One of many career highlights was his appearance at the 1989 “Nelson Mandela Tribute Concert”, where Paul performed the Crowded House song “Don’t Dream It’s Over” to worldwide acclaim.

2016 saw Paul release his brand new album “Good Thing”.

Paul has recorded a collection of Memphis Soul tunes and this will be Paul’s first soul album in 20 years.

WHO AM I? KMD, MBE (born 4 March 1951) is a Scottish former footballer and manager. He made over a hundred appearances for Celtic, Liverpool & Scotland (becoming its most capped & top-scoring player of all time). He won the Ballon d’Or Silver Award in 1983, the PFA Players’ Player of the Year in 1983 and the FWA Footballer of the Year in 1979 and 1983.

In 2009 FourFourTwo named him as the greatest striker in post-war British football, and in 2006 he topped a Liverpool fans’ poll of “100 Players Who Shook the Kop”. He has been inducted into both the Scottish and English Football Halls of Fame.

Valentine’s Day - Beauty Tips Winter V Romance!

Get a good moisturiser. Skin typically dries out during the winter, so remember to apply a moisturiser before you apply any of your make-up to give you that perfect finish.

Choose a lighter foundation than what you have been wearing, now winter has arrived your skin colour begins to fade. To get the right shade, apply a small amount to your jaw line to see if it matches.

If you feel pale just add a little bronzer to give it a lift.

Use less pink blush on your cheeks. Cold weather and typically brings out the redness on the cheeks naturally only apply a small amount and change to a peachy,neutral shade.

It’s all about the LIPS! Red Alert! – This is the month where it’s hip to be a scarlet women! With Valentine’s Day on the 14th why not make the whole of February a time to feel feminine and sexy.

Banish winter greys and let some red into your life.

Whatever your skin tone go light on the eyes just a flash of blusher, brighten up a sun-starved complexion with a vibrant shade of red. The red lipstick is a classic and never seems to go out of style and is still hot for spring 2018.

As the weather is still chilly protecting your skin is a must, always use a moisturizer suitable for your skin type and with a minimum of SPF 15 even in winter as the sun can still damage your skin. For smooth, kissable lips exfoliate once a week by applying lip salve on to a soft baby toothbrush and gently brush over your lips in circular motions, this will rid of any dead skin, keep your lips protected and in perfect condition by applying lashings of lippy, if you use a lippy with hidden extras then you will give them a treat as well as looking fabulous! Using a lip moisturizer before bed will keep lips in tip top hydration, with this kind of treatment you will have the perfect base for lipstick and lip-gloss any time of the year.

For an added sultry effect curl your lashes and use a volumizing mascara.

Don’t forget that those lips are the most important for a romantic look, it has to be red, make sure you choose a warm red that's not too orangey as this shade will suit most skin shades, lining the lips is essential for a neat shape and to ensure lipstick stays put, line them first and fill in with colour, apply a little gloss to the center for guaranteed attraction!
