FAMILY FRIENDLY ATTRACTIONS IN CHESHIRE Chester Zoo

With over 35,000 animals and 125 acres of zoological gardens to EXPLORE, you will NEVER be bored at Chester Zoo! We are the most visited zoo in the UK AND a conservation and education charity. Blue Planet Aquarium
Once again it’s possible to come face to fin with Sandtiger and Blacktip sharks at Blue Planet Aquarium in Ellesmere Port.
While the daring can book a shark dive, others might judge the Underwater Shark Tunnel a close enough encounter with the fearsome (if muchmaligned) fish – the aquarium has one of Europe’s largest collections of sharks.
Delamere Forest
Delamere, is a place to let off steam, escape the crowds and find peace in the heart of the forest.
Accessible by its very own train station, you’ll find easygoing trails for all abilities, a hike to admire the view across to Liverpool’s famous skyline, orienteering courses for all abilities or a bit of peace and quiet to watch the wildlife by the lake. Forest Holidays also have a selection of stunning forest cabins opening in 2020, perfect if you are looking to escape the everyday. If you would rather get a bird’s eye view of the forest, treat your group to an outdoor adventure at Go Ape! If heights aren’t your thing, we also have Segway hire available. Delamere has something for everyone! Magical Wonderland
There are dazzling displays under cathedral canopies of fairy lights, showers of glowin-the-dark stars, and dancing tunnels of borealis-style lasers. The sky fills with mysteriously floating umbrellas and clouds of flying lanterns, while shiny baubles bounce to a magician’s command and DJs conduct sparkling jets of water to the beat of ethereal tunes.
