MICHELLE DAWSON: HILLS AND SHORES

Finding inspiration in the hills at Cissbury Ring, the shores of Sussex and Cornwall, Michelle Dawson is excited to reveal the paintings she has been making in her new garden studio over the last year�
MARY FIVEY: STOLEN SELFIES
08 - 12 August
In an era where self image has become an obsession for many, Mary Fivey has become intrigued as to how people want to portray themselves in the metaverse� The exhibition will feature quirky portrait paintings of friends, family and people who have posted selfies across social media�
WEALD CONTEMPORARY: THE MOTHSHELL AMBIT
15 - 20 August
Starting off the month with a thought-provoking exhibition, we have ‘Me and Mr P’, a group exhibition of artists with Parkinson’s disease coming together to share their creativity� Michelle Dawson has taken inspiration from the hills at Cissbury Ring and the shores of Sussex in her latest paintings� Mary Fivey has become intrigued by how people represent themselves online in her latest exhibition ‘Stolen Selfies’� Enjoy the work of four Sussex-based artists in the group show, ‘The Mothshell Ambit’�
Mel Elston-Mendones returns to Colonnade House for his first solo exhibition in a decade� Chris Prince will be showing his passion for wildlife photography� Lucia Babjakova will be exhibiting alongside other artists, exploring the theme of saving and restoring urban nature�
The Mothshell Ambit invites you to experience the sonorous work of four Sussex based artists; Joseph Dilnot, Daniella Norton, Jasper Thims and Jennifer Davis� In this group exhibition, they will explore a realm that is distant, yet intrinsically informed by their world�

22 - 27 August
Returning to Colonnade House for his first solo exhibition in over a decade, Mel ElstonMendones invites you to consider questions around the themes of home, identity displacement and living in diaspora�
CHRIS PRINCE: WILD AS YOU LIKE
22 - 27 August
’Wild As You Like’ is an exhibition by wildlife photographer, Chris Prince� Chris has travelled extensively and will be bringing his love for wildlife to the gallery this summer� He keeps a keen eye on conservation and rewilding issues to help preserve and hopefully increase wild areas in this country and abroad�
LUCIA BABJAKOVA
29 August - 03 September
Lucia Babjakova, along with other young artists, including Elai Inti, will be exploring the theme of saving and restoring urban nature� ‘To Save It, You Must See It’ is bringing attention to the beauty and life that lives in nature, inviting the viewer to see the beauty in ‘untidy’ nature�
