STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE ON REPORTING TEXT SCAM COMPLAINTS TO THE NTC

Report text scam to the NTC in two ways: 1. Submit the following information by e-mail at kontratextscam@ntc.gov.ph: E-mail to: kontratextscam@ntc.gov.ph

Put on “Subject”: “Text Scam Complaint”

a. Your complete name, address, email and contact number; Put Complete Name:

b. The complained cellphone number;

c. A screenshot of the text scam message with the sender’s mobile number; and Example of Text Scam Message

d. A photo of any of your government-issued IDs. (Example of Government ID: UMID)

2. Upload at the NTC’s website https://ntc.gov.ph by doing the following: a. Click on the Text Scam Complaints button found in the main page;

a. Fill out the details in the Text Scam Complaints Form;
