In the Greater Depth Maths Club, we will develop the children’s mathematical skills by encouraging them to apply their knowledge to unfamiliar and multi-step problems, explain their reasoning clearly using precise mathematical language, make connections across different areas of mathematics, and justify why methods work rather than simply using them.
