Our furniture is designed around three fundamental principles:- making best space of the room available; using fittings and components high in specification; making it easy to install.

These principles are as true today, as they were when the product design was conceived.

Eco Bathrooms come in three distinct flavours:space - representing a carefully selected range of fitted bathroom furniture cabinets, enabling the smallest of rooms to provide much needed storage space for everyday requirements. Within our Space range, we select 6mm frosted safety glass shelves, with locking chrome adjustable brackets - ensuring the furniture looks at home within the bathroom environment. style - is equally at home in a cloakroom, en-suite or bathroom. Uncomplicated and designed to be used as individual pieces but is flexible enough to be mixed with the other two flavours to complete the perfect bathroom. design - a carefully selected range of modular bathroom furniture cabinets. Wall hung basin cabinets feature four fixing points that assist with alignment and secure the unit for peace of mind.

Can also be planned with our other cabinets to suit any space requirement.

All cabinets are manufactured in 18mm MFC and constructed with glue and dowel, avoiding unsightly exposed metal cams. Doors are supplied fitted to the cabinets. Our furniture cabinets carry a 5 year guarantee (details of which are on the inside of the back cover).

Doors close softly, due to hinges that have soft close mechanisms, integral to the hinge. Soft close can be turned off on one hinge to accelerate the closing action, if required. Alternatively, Space cabinets may be specified with “touch to open” and no handles (doored cabinets only).

We offer three ranges of furniture: ”Space”, “Style” and “Design”, thoughtfully designed to offer a bathroom solution to suit all.

Mixing and matching across these ranges allows almost limitless options with the design and layout of your dream bathroom.

Selected cabinets from all three of our ranges can be used together in a ‘mix and match’ fashion, giving you greater flexibility with the layout and design of your dream bathroom.

space represents a carefully selected range of fitted bathroom furniture cabinets, enabling the smallest of rooms to provide much needed storage space for everyday requirements. style is equally at home in a cloakroom, en-suite or bathroom.

Uncomplicated and designed to be used as individual pieces. design takes its inspiration from the warm climes of Mediterranean Europe. Wall hung basin and tower cabinets create a minimalist contemporary design, that will stand the tests of time.

ELECTRICAL ZONED LIGHTING

Bathroom lighting Electricity and water are a dangerous combination so when choosing bathroom lights, it is essential you are aware of IP Rating and Bathroom Zones. You need to ensure that the fittings you choose have the relevant IP rating for the Zone in which it is to be used.

IP Ratings IP (or “Ingress Protection”) ratings are defined in international standard EN 60529 (British BS EN 60529:1992, European IEC 60509:1989). They are used

to define levels of sealing effectiveness of electrical enclosures against intrusion from foreign bodies (tools, dirt etc) and moisture.

What do the numbers in an IP Rating mean?

The numbers that follow IP each have a specific meaning. The first indicates the degree of protection (of people) from moving parts, as well as the protection of enclosed equipment from foreign bodies.

The second defines the protection level that the enclosure enjoys from various forms of moisture (drips, sprays, submersion etc).

Zone 0 Inside the bath or shower. Any fittings used here must be SELV (Separated Extra Low Voltage – max. 12Volts) and have a minimum rating of IP67.

Zone 1 Above the bath or shower to a height of 2.25m. A minimum rating of IP44 is required. In this zone, if there is likelihood of water jets being used for cleaning purposes, a minimum of IP67 is required.

Also, subject to IP rating, SELV or 240V luminaires may be used in this zone; if the fitting is 240 volts, a 30mA residual current device (RCD) must also be used to protect the circuit in this zone.

This information should be used for guidance only.

Always refer to the current IEE Wiring Regulations or a qualified electrician to ensure that you are guided by the latest codes of practice.

Installation of electrical lighting must be made

Zone 2 The area stretching to 0.6m outside the bath or shower and above the bath or shower if over 2.25m. An IP rating of at least IP44 is required. In this zone, if there is likelihood of water jets being used for cleaning purposes, a minimum of IP67 is required.

Also, subject to IP rating, SELV or 240V luminaires may be used in this zone. In addition, it is good practice to consider the area around a wash basin (within a 60cm radius of any tap) as Zone 2.

Outside Zones Anywhere outside zones 0, 1, and 2. Where water jets are not to be used for cleaning purposes, the general rules of BS7671 apply. Here, there is no requirement for any lighting solutions to be protected.

Installation & After Care Guide

CISTERNS Concealed cisterns used within our furniture are manufactured in the UK

by Tyde, whom are market leader within water technology.

Cisterns are supplied factory assembled, with top and front access panels and easy fit, push fit plumbing fittings.

Cisterns are factory set to 6ltr |4ltr flush, however they can be quickly converted to 5ltr|3ltr or4ltr | 2.6ltr flush settings to offer further water saving opportunities.

When purchasing both cabinet and concealed cistern fittings from us, we will prepare the cabinet in advance of installation, to accept Tyde Vantage cistern.

This includes drilling and sealing the top fascia to accept the control button(s).

The Vantage cistern features a polystyrene insulation jacket, (exception 400mm width) which reduces noise and condensation, offering protection to your furniture and floor.

Delay fill hydroflo inlet valve ensures the cistern only starts to refill the cistern, once flushing is complete. We offer three flush control options See below for flush button options and refer to Price Guide for Furniture & Concealed Cistern Options and prices.

We strongly recommend Tyde Vantage concealed cisterns for use within bathroom furniture.

It is easy to fit, quiet in operation, protects against condensation and offer three control options. Crucially it is reliable and safe, holding WRAS accreditation and approved by the European water label scheme.

Surfaces should be cleaned with a damp cloth, mild solution of liquid soap in water and polished with a dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents or furniture polish.
