THE FOOD STUDIO Sarum Hall School sets out to achieve outstanding experiences for its pupils, staff and parents. Our high-tech Food Studio, which was opened by Mary Berry in 2018, allows us to share our love and knowledge of cooking and eating well with you through a variety of classes, tasting sessions and venue hire.

We have a large, well-lit space with natural light and individual cooking spaces for 12 students, or paired to fit more centred around three cooking islands. Our equipment is new and suitable for home cooks.* Prior to usage, our staff can arrange ingredient deliveries, so you arrive ready to cook! We have ample refrigeration as well.

Whether you are looking to have a fun filled cooking session focussing on team building, would like to take a course and learn how to make a range of nutritiously delicious meals, or you are looking to hire our studio for your own event or class; we are here to help.

team building Plan your next team building day with the Food Studio. Give your team a day or night out to remember. Bake off competitions? Next amateur Masterchef? Let us know your theme and goals for the day and we will create a bespoke class to suit your desired outcome.

COURSES FOR EVERYONE Community: Children and Adult Classes We offer a selection of courses designed for a variety of ages to share our amazing facilities and knowledge of cooking well. Our classes are customised and range from knife skills to French pastry. We aim to stay on trend and offer courses with both skill and healthy living in mind.

Local London Schools We offer a wide range of classes from one-off introductions to a series that are customised by age and ability level and we support cross-curricular initiatives. With Healthy Schools London in mind, we work with you to develop and improve children’s attitudes towards food by teaching them how to cook tasty, nutritious meals. We would love to create a one-of-a-kind field trip experience for your students. We do offer funded sessions for schools which qualify. For all other schools, we charge a nominal fee to cover staff, ingredients and room usage.

venue hire The Food Studio may also be rented to individuals or small groups for a wide range of uses including your own workshops, conferences, tasting sessions, photography or filming.

Lastly, our space has its own private toilet and electronic chair for those less mobile.
