Rosenfeld’s paintings incorporate shattered tempered glass strategically placed over layered painted surfaces which often employ metallic and interference pigment. Between the glass shards are glass beads, adding another shiny element.

Leith uses gold, copper and silver leaf in her paintings which begin as plein-air and morph into something otherworldly when finished in her studio. The leaf gives an ethereal glimmer to the organic, lushly abstracted surfaces.
