Dear Friend, I am thrilled you have continued supporting visual arts and culture in the greater Philadelphia region. Thanks to your patronage InLiquid has been able to host artist panels, hands on workshops, and provide hundreds of individuals access to free art exhibitions. Thank you. The 2021 Impact Report highlights shared accomplishments in, yet again, a year of uncertainty. In 2021 we served over 300 member artists; helping with professional development, art sales, exhibitions, and general exposure. Our online presence continued to grow through virtual workshops and events with 111,295 individuals using InLiquid’s online resources. In addition, InLiquid continued welcoming visitors to over 40 in-person exhibitions and events throughout the city. In 2020 several new initiatives were announced and in 2021 they flourished. Our Wind Fellowship program had 10 fellows with four honorable mentions and will be continued in 2022. We successfully piloted a new Artist in Residence program at Meadowbrook Farm highlighting eight emerging artists over the course of seven months. Additionally, in a continuation of community engagement efforts, we had an open call for essay writers to work directly with artists to encapsulate upcoming exhibitions.
InLiquid is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1999 and committed to connecting artists and audiences in the Philadelphia region. InLiquid fosters the artistic practices of hundreds of visual artists each year and encourages audiences to collect work by our dynamic arts community. InLiquid makes the work of our region’s artists accessible to all, providing free contemporary art programming in the InLiquid Gallery, satellite spaces throughout greater Philadelphia, and virtually through its online information center that showcases hundreds of the region’s artists. Increasingly, InLiquid connects communities by creating opportunities to use art as a catalyst for civic engagement and calls for social change.
These efforts would not be possible without you and your commitment to art and artists. When you support InLiquid, you create opportunities for artists and foster more accessible art programming in your community. Thank you. Best regards, Rachel Zimmerman Founding Executive Director
