Primary Logo

Steve Hofstetter’s primary logo is a combination of the Steve Hofstetter wordmark along with a character icon representing a play button with Steve Hofstetter’s distinctive facial profile.

Where possible the primary logo should be used as a first choice in application.

CLEAR SPACE

MINIMUM SIZE

To ensure legibility, always keep a minimum clear space around the logo. This should be the height of the glasses on all sides, and remain proportional when enlarged.

The smallest the logo should be represented is 50mm wide.

Secondary Logos

The following secondary logos may be used in place of the primary logo when the primary logo is unsuitable for the application.

This can include letterheads, website banners, vehicle branding etc.

A

Logo A can be used in applications such as a social media square profile pic, or the chest emblem of a uniform.

Logo B might be used where the need for a more narrow horizontal banner is presented.

Colour Usage

The colour usage for Steve Hofstetter is orange and black.

The logo should be used primarily as a black wordmark and orange play button element on a white or lighter saturation background where applicable.

Typography

The font to be used with Steve Hofstetter branding should always be a combination of Futura LT Book Bold for headlines, and Futura LT Book regular for body copy.

The ginger kid.

Leading and tracking should remain at 100%

Unacceptable Usage

A few rules are necessary for maintaining the integrity of the branding. Don’t compromise the look of the logo by rotating, skewing or distorting in any way.

Don’t rotate the logo.

Don’t use off brand colours.

Refer to section 2a for proper colour usage.

Don’t add outlines to the logo.

Don’t add drop-shadows or any other text styles.

Don’t stretch or squash the logo.

Don’t alter the size of any of the logo elements.

Don’t use variations of the company colours within the logo.

Don’t contain the logo in a box when used on a background.

Don’t place elements in the logo clear space.

This includes adding any text decorations like drop shadows or outlines, or straying from the company colours. Here are some examples of ways the logo should never be used.
