Mental health is a very real thing that is not talked about enough, so always remember that mental health comes first and foremost before anything else! For my seniors: we will get through college apps! Remember that if it won't matter in 5 years, it's not worth stressing more than 5 minutes over (and yes this applies to your college app stress). For my juniors, same thing applies! The SAT is JUST A TEST, always remember that. I am so proud of you all for pushing through 2020, and always remember that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I hope you guys enjoy this publication! I definitely enjoyed making it for you all <3

Hello INDB! Happy Holidays! I hope you have all been staying safe and healthy throughout these times! These past few months have been quite trying for me, to be honest--my winter has been filled with immense studying, multiple college applications, and of course Key Club! There are definitely times where I feel hopeless and burnt-out, but I remember to remind myself to take a step back, take a few deep breaths, and push my work aside for even just a few short minutes. Remember to spend this time with your family, and if you MUST work on something during this break, always remember to take it piece by piece and step by step. If any of you are ever feeling burnt-out or overwhelming stress, please reach out to me! I would love to talk to you all and share with you my personal tips and tricks for battling stress and burn-out.

Hello Indiana Key Club! Happy New Year! 2021 has finally arrived! I hope your holiday season was peaceful, safe, and filled with lots of joy. Because November and the first few weeks of December were filled with homework assignments, tests, holiday volunteering, Key Club meetings, and projects for me, winter break was a muchneeded time off. My mom and I planned to travel back to my home in Hungary, but we decided to remain in Indiana for everyone’s safety and made the best of our stay-cation. I finally had time to binge watch a few shows, sleep in, and catch up on Governor duties!

As we are nearing the end of the service year, I encourage you to reflect on the importance of Key Club during this pandemic. Although this year has presented many challenges, you Key Clubbers have done an exceptional job utilizing resources to effectively prepare for meetings as well as conducting service projects safely. Some of my favorite holiday
projects that clubs have performed over the last month were ringing the bell for Salvation Army, assembling goodie bags for elderly residents, and participating in food distribution initiatives. Volunteerism is needed more than ever during these unprecedented times, and you have diligently supported our communities in person and virtually, for which I am incredibly thankful. Ultimately, I am so proud of our peers who live out our Key Club values, recruit new members, and locate new ways to spread kindness! Please stay active in your clubs, introduce your friends to this wonderful organization, and keep in touch with your Lieutenant Governor. I can’t wait to “see” you at our virtual DLC! Hello Indiana! How do I only have two months left in my term?! Being on the Indiana District Board has been the craziest, yet most rewarding experience I've ever had. However, it's not over yet and I am so excited to see all the work that gets done in these last couple months! I am well into my senior year and now only have one semester left. It has been such a bittersweet feeling knowing that I'm experiencing so many "firsts" this year, yet knowing that there have been many "lasts" as well. I am excited to finish this next semester strong and finally decide what college I will be attending in the fall! I have been working hard with my fellow INDB members on several projects. My biggest accomplishment this past quarter was getting the new Club Monthly Report insecretarytreasurer.kci@gmail.com system up and running. I spent lots and lots of time creating this new system and I hope officers and advisors are finding it to be a more efficient system! Other duties that I have been working on are taking minutes at board meetings, making and sending out monthly reports for the LTGs, editing newsletters, helping LTGs plan their LTG projects, attending DCMs, "grading" each LTG for their quarterly report card, along with many other things!

Hey Indiana! I hope you have all been having a wonderful winter break, spent with lots of hot cocoa, gingerbread house making, and chestnuts by the fireplace! I know I'm extremely grateful to be having this time off to spend with my family and to maintain my mental health because these past few weeks have been very exhausting!

I have definitely achieved many goals in regards to my Key Club position this past quarter. Working alongside the Marketing Committee Chair, Rai Singh, we finally finished updating and polishing the Indiana District website! You can check out the new and improved website here ! Along with finalizing the website, we have also began establishing the district store, a place where you can buy all of your necessary Indiana Key Club merchandise and more! Most importantly, I have also finalized this issue of my magazine for you all!
As I am entering the last semester of high school, it has been both happy and sad looking back on my growth throughout these past four years and seeing the mark that I have made on my community and school. It's definitely a bittersweet feeling leaving my hometown, but I can't wait to expand my horizons and finally enter a new stage in life! 2020 has definitely made me feel stagnant, so I'm ready for some large tidal waves in my life! I know 2020 has been nothing but easy, but always remember that you are never alone. The Exec Board is here to guide you, advise you, and create an extra shoulder to lean on when you are feeling burnt-out, overwhelmed, or stressed! Your LTGs are also an amazing support system, and are here for YOU! Always remember that the INDB is one big family! I hope you all have a superb holiday season and spend this precious time relaxing, sleeping, and rejuvenating! Never hesitate to reach out! I hope to see you all at DLC 2021! Hey everyone! I hope you're doing well and having a wonderful holiday season! I for one can't wait to set aside some time for family and friends as this hectic year finally draws to a close. I've been hard at work representing you on the International Board, and I can't wait to keep serving you in 2021! Key Club is fundamentally founded on the joy of service, and there's no better time to merge the joy of service with the joy of the holidays! Even as the weather gets colder and the days get shorter, I am confident that you all will find incredible ways to continue to serve your homes, schools, and communities.

The INDB November Board Meeting took place from November 13-15 and was a huge success! We even invited committee members for some committee work time! We talked about chartering and rechartering clubs, heard from our Circle K and Kiwanis counterparts, and had numerous energizers and fun games to increase bonding!

Circle K Fall was a busy time for INCKI (Indiana District of Circle K International) as we came back to school and adjusted to new safety guidelines that differed greatly across the state. We were still able to host our fall district events Fall Service Kick-Off and the Membership Development and Education Conference, albeit virtually. It has been exciting to watch clubs adapt to this year through new virtual service and social events and discover new places to volunteer during the pandemic. Our district board is currently hard at work behind the scenes helping with dues, meeting with clubs, planning a district social and our spring district events (District Convention and Kiwanis Family Love Day), and strategic planning. I have loved being able to collaborate with Cheyenne and the rest of the Key Club district board throughout the year. District Leadership Convention DLC 2021 has finally been announced! We are introducing: DLC 2021, Service Written in the Stars, from February 26-28! Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Indiana District of Key Club has decided to host DLC 2021 virtually. However, we hope that you consider joining since DLC from home will be much more accessible and affordable to members! There will still be a myriad of exciting workshops for you to attend, virtual service to do, and elections for next year's INDB will take place during DLC as well! Everyone that registers will receive a goodie box with some Key Club merch as well as the material needed for the service projects we do. Additionally, everyone has the option to order a special DLC shirt. 15

As usual, we will have a multitude of awards for which you may apply. Also, anyone has the opportunity to run for a District Board position (Governor, Secretary-Treasurer, Bulletin Editor, or the Lieutenant Governor for your division). Please apply for awards by filling out this packet, and submit your Statement of Candidacy with this form. Ask your advisor for registration and merchandise information! Shirt orders must be received by January 8, and registration must be received by January 29. District Board Positions As mentioned in the DLC section, positions on the District Board are open to any member in Indiana! All major position requirements are stated in the Statement of Candidacy. You may run for the Lieutenant Governor of your division or even an executive position of Governor, Secretary-Treasurer, or Bulletin Editor! Feel free to reach out to me to ask about my Bulletin Editor position or reach out to Governor Cheyenne, Secretary-Treasurer Tori Gray, or any of the LTGs to see what they do! Holding a position is an incredible once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Look for videos on our social media and YouTube created by some of our very own LTGs about their experiences on the board! All applications must be received by January 29, 2021.

Structure & Future Committee Drew Yeager Hello Indiana District, my name is Drew Yeager and I am the chairman of the Structure/Future Committee. I would love to give you an update on what we have been doing. I also want to take time to thank each and every member of this committee; they have all worked diligently to ensure the Indiana District is structured in the best way possible. To start, we prepared information to increase the efficiency of the map, Bylaw, and Policy approval by clubs, DLC Delegates, and Kiwanis. We prepared email statements to send to you for an update on what will change about your division and how you as a club will be affected. Next, we started preparing for HOD, Caucusing, and NomCom, and we offered our support to the hardworking, Event Planning Committee. Finally, we started preparing for Quarter 4. We plan on accomplishing: final map proposal information, reviewing Bylaws again for final changes, and election presentations, infographics, videos, and animations for DLC attendees and Delegates. I cannot wait to see all of you at DLC, and I hope that all of you enjoy all of the hard work that my committee members have put into the structure and future of the Indiana District of Key Club International.

Marketing Committee Rai Singh " Happy Holidays Key Clubbers! I hope you all have a safe and wonderful holiday break and enjoy some time with your loved ones. In the past 4 months, the Marketing Committee has accomplished a lot of our goals. First, we completed minor tasks like creating infographics for district events, and then we began to plan and execute Takeover Tuesdays, where Lieutenant Governors and the Executive Board take over the Instagram and share their day with the Indiana Key Clubbers. Our goal was to have our district board connect more with our audience and take them on the journey towards DLC 2021. Then, we updated all of the information on the website, which was a huge accomplishment given that it took us the first 7 months to complete! Lastly, we are finishing up on rolling out our District Store! We are planning on designs right now and expect to buy some INDB exclusive merchandise soon! We hope to finish the store by DLC so our members can wear our merch at the event. One thing I struggled with was not having our work recognized by anyone, but in the past 3 months I have seen an increase in communication on the Instagram, and that makes me so happy. We are about 2 months away from retiring, and I constantly remind myself to not occupy my mind with 10 things at a time. If you take it step by step, your end result will be blissful. K-Fam Membership Committee Carly Hawkins The Kiwanis Family Membership Committee has been working to bring the best resources and information to the Indiana District! I swear we can produce infographics like no other! I am very proud of the committee and all of the hard work they put in. I have a team of very passionate leaders working alongside me and I couldn't ask for anything better than what I've been blessed with! We're hoping to complete and finish our last quarter up with some very important resources like officer training pamphlets and advice to next year's committee. One project we are very excited to work on is making resources that will help the new board (and members) know how to be successful in their Key Club year while working virtually. Event Planning Committee Nejere' Onomakpome In the past few months, the Event Planning Committee has brainstormed, planned, and begin to put together DLC 2021. With coming off of Virtual Fall Rally, we knew how much work it was to put together a virtual event. This time we were experienced, prepared, and had new goals, including having 150 Indiana Key Club Members at DLC 2021. Of course, we wanted an in-person DLC but with the COVID-19 cases rising and the uncertainty of next year, we decided it was best for Indiana Key Clubbers' health as well as the Indiana District Board's health to hold DLC 2021 virtually. We have accomplished setting the theme: "Service Written In The Stars", creating the DLC 2021 t-shirt, and revising the Candidate and Award Packets. Currently, we are working on guest speakers and setting speakers for breakout rooms. A sneak peek into DLC 2021 breakout rooms: "Looking Into The Future"- Circle K/College 101, "Space Advisors"- Advisor Breakout Room, "Rocketing Into District/International Office"- Running for Int/District Office, and "Flying Comet Scholarships"- Scholarship Opportunities. Registration is open for only $15! This includes some Key Club goodies, DLC 2021 space theme items, and items for DLC 2021 service projects. Also, the DLC t-shirt fundraiser is live now, which you can purchase separately on customink! Key Club Connections Committee Thea Puente “The KC Connections Committee is currently working on creating some new partnerships and continuing all the amazing work with our current ones. What that entails is we reach out to each one to have contact, get updated information ,and then create informational flyers. We are also on our way to launching our Riley Children’s Hospital fundraiser t-shirt in January in order to help reach our goal toward the Riley campaign. I am so incredibly proud of all the amazing girls on this committee and all of their hard work they continue to put in. Dues, Dues, Dues The Early Bird dues deadline of December 1 has passed, but if you have not had the chance to submit dues this year, no worries! The regular dues deadline is now February 1, 2021, so send them in to meet that deadline. Remember, dues are mandatory for each Key Clubber in order to be a member in good standing with Key Club International. For more information, visit keyclub.org.

LTG Get an inside glimpse at what some of your INDB LTGs are doing to give service to their local communities!
Sycamore South LTG Rai Singh "My Lieutenant Governor Project this year is called Holiday Pen-Pals. The idea originally was planned for my high school's club. As I, alongside my Kiwanis Lieutenant Governor Sharon Canaday are the club advisors for Fishers High School Key Club, we were planning on a service project in which members can gain hours but connect with our community without actual interaction due to COVID-19. We decided on the idea of members writing cards to elders in community homes for the holidays. That got me thinking, because Hamilton County has many community homes, and COVID-19 has isolated them from their loved ones this holiday season. I began to make this project a division wide one, and ultimately all of my schools within Sycamore South agreed and are participating! Holiday Pen-Pals was supposed to end on December 15th, but I've extended the deadline to before Christmas Eve. I hope that all members can write cards to encourage the elders to stay strong and safe, and to keep hope! There is news that COVID-19 can be a thing of the past, so it doesn't hurt to have hope through these unprecedented times. I have received approximately 75 letters, which is awesome! I hope all members across Indiana can participate, as you mail the letters to my PO Box, and I distribute them to community homes to limit contact. Check out the poster for more details!"

Projects Explorer LTG Nejere' Onomakpome Walk For A Cause! With the COVID-19 crisis, it has been hard to donate money to organizations due to parents losing their jobs or household income changing. What if I told you can raise money by simply walking? Impact- Steps For A Cause is an app dedicated to the well-being of you and donating your steps to World Wide Organizations. Simply download the app, enter in your height and weight, enter in-group code, and let the app do the rest! This fundraiser will be live from January 1st till the 31st. This is a great way to smash those New Year goals and start the year off in the right way. Let's raise $200 for those in need!

Holiday Service feeling uninspired? unmotivated? here are 5 fun ways you can give safe service during the holiday season!
1.
Laundry Mat Care Packages. Landing at the laundry mat during
cold months can discouraging. Brighten someone’s day by assembling care packages for those who might need an extra dose of Holiday cheer. If you have them, gather samples of laundry detergent and fabric softener. Get a roll of quarters. Add some Holiday candy or cookies and gather things in a basket or gallon sized plastic bag. Don’t forget a Holiday card or handwritten note! Pass out the bags to people at your laundry mat or ask the staff if you can leave them behind on washing machines.

Emergency Waiting Room Kits. Just because the holiday arrives,
it doesn’t mean that families don’t suffer tragedy and pain. Put together kits to make a difference for those who might be in a literal season of waiting. Gather together items for people who may need to be in the ER over the holidays. Include things like a toothbrush, gum, puzzle books, a pair of socks, and Tylenol. Again, type up or handwrite a special note, letting them know those items have been prayed over and that God cares about their struggle. Be sure you check with the staff and find out the best place to store or pass out the items. You never want to disturb a family in pain or grief, but your small package can make a big difference.

Pick Up Trash. On warmer day, head to your favorite park and
spend some time picking up the trash from the grounds. Don’t forget to place items you gather in either the recycling bins or the appropriate trash receptacles.

Spread the Light. Decorate someone else’s home with a festive
spirit. Hang lights on a neighbor’s home (ask their permission first, of course) or see if a local hospital will let you add some cheer to the nurse’s station or in a waiting area. Just be sure you also clean up the decorations and store them, too.
5.
Volunteering at a local food pantry. Thanksgiving and
Christmas are very busy times for food banks and very popular times to volunteer. During the pandemic, food banks and food pantries are taking extra precautions to keep volunteers and visitors safe. This may mean that some of the programs you might be used to volunteering at such as holiday soup kitchen meals or turkey distributions may not be happening, or may look a little different this year. If you want to volunteer this holiday, there are still plenty of options to choose from, as long as you sign up early. Be sure to check with your local food bank to see where they need help, prepare to bundle up and bring the whole family!
