From the blistering day, to the piercing night. Where the infants that carries the hope of humanity would cry, Where the caged ones among us carried burdens heavy enough to break their spines. Where lives are cruelly chosen, before those who carried that burden knew their life had been defined.
Whispers of life and death mixed to tell story of great tragedy, Of the ones who once had everything going for them. Until upon discovery, That their time is up and the only thing to do is wait for the agony.
Told everyday with lies of false hope, When we are in despair, Do we turn for help from god or the pope? Sadly more prayers are ignored than the ones that are told. When everyday starts to look like the same reflection, What are the chances that we are not living in stimulation? Thousands of lives and family put on television, Yet not for show. Their stories are told through the melody of growling moans, And what’s left of a damaged home.
Each time somebody takes in an insult as if they aren’t bothered,
Though you can tell they were hurt but just afraid to show. Because showing your weakness is only like begging to endure more, Pain. Graphic by Lauren Wong
