his month we celebrate moms. As a mom myself, it’s easy to be labeled as mompreneur ~ A female business owner who actively balances the roles of mother and of entrepreneur.

Whether you’re an executive, business owner or stay at home mom, being a MOM is a balancing act.

The task of being mom is never ending but it is deeply gratifying. Nurturing your own is a journey of hope and expectation. Often it’s a painstaking “watch and pray” journey.

Being in business offers me the privilege of leading and mentoring the younger generation. Be it schools leavers, young graduates or even those who have struggled to gain work place experience. I often find myself smoothing the edges, instilling etiquette and creating visionaries. Every mother’s role!

Whilst mompreneur by definition may mean a mom in business, for me it is my business to shape the future workforce.
