WELCOME TO SYDNEY
INGLIS READY2RACE SALE 15 OCTOBER 2026 RIVERSIDE STABLES, SYDNEY
The growth of the Inglis Ready2Race Sale in recent years has been nothing short of extraordinary. With an influx of recent star graduates headed by the G1-winning colts of last season in Tron Bolt and Libertad, combined with the timing of the sale around the running of the $20m G1 The Everest, this auction has become an event people no longer want to miss. This year’s sale – to be held from 11am on Thursday October 15 is again surrounded by a series of events to set up a memorable week both in and out of the Riverside Stables auditorium. Inspections begin on Monday October 12, with the International Animal Health-sponsored Welcome Drinks being held under the Two Figs from 3.30pm on Wednesday October 14 for anybody at the complex at that time.
SEBASTIAN HUTCH CEO - Bloodstock Sales
IAH Welcome Drinks evening is an important concept for us as it gives us the opportunity to say thank you to all the hard-working stud and stable staff for everything they do ahead of the sale by shouting some drinks and food.
The Friday following the sale has fast become a tradition to head to Double Bay in Sydney’s east for the annual Everest Calcutta at the Royal Oak Hotel – for many after a long lunch - while on Saturday, Royal Randwick hosts the running of the richest race on turf, the $20m G1 The Everest. And wedged in between all of that is our most important feature of the week – the Inglis Ready2Race Sale. This time last year, we told anyone who would listen that the 2025 catalogue was the strongest we had ever assembled and that sale has already produced subsequent G1 JJ Atkins winner Tron Bolt, multiple Stakes winner Hard Kick, Stakes winner Queen Regent and the likes of Seraphox, Buggsy, Mbube and more. So when we tell you that this year’s catalogue of 321 lots isn’t just the best Ready2Race catalogue we have ever assembled - but the best 2YO sale catalogue in Australia or New Zealand in 2026 - please take note. Of the catalogued lots, 232 were acquired at auction specifically for the sale, while much of the balance of the catalogue is made of homebreds. The catalogue features 111 lots out of black type performers or black type producers and includes siblings to the likes of G1 winners Private Life, Communist, Tashi and Captivant as well as the likes of Stretan Ruler, Gunnison, Cosmic Force, King Of Pop, Roselyn’s Star, Arabian Summer and many more. The depth on offer is incredible — from proven sire lines like I Am Invincible, Zoustar, Frankel, Gun Runner, Siyouni, Toronado, Too Darn Hot, Home Affairs, Ole Kirk, Savabeel, Harry Angel, So You Think, Super Seth, Wootton Bassett, Starspangledbanner, Dundeel, Exceed And Excel, The Autumn Sun, Street Boss, Written Tycoon, Ghaiyyath etc through to first-crop representatives such as Anamoe, Artorius, In The Congo, Diatonic and many more. We look forward to welcoming you to Riverside Stables, be it as a new client or a regular returning. Should you require any assistance in the lead-up to or during the sale, please contact myself or any member of the Inglis bloodstock team at any time. Regards, Sebastian
