bout 1,400 people turned out for the City of Inglewood’s annual State of the City Address, held at the Fabulous Forum on April 21. It was the largest SOTC in Inglewood history. The annual fundraiser for the Inglewood Airport Area Chamber of Commerce featured Mayor James Butts as the keynote speaker, joined onstage by emcee and KCBS sports director Jim Hill and KNBC sports anchor Fred Roggin. uring last week’s State of The City Address, Inglewood High School senior, Naomi Hephzibah, who was recently awarded a 4-year scholarship to Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York, received an additional $1000 scholarship and award for academic excellence.
