Through comprehensive discussions and negotiations with our partners, including 3 Digitos and our good friend Crunchess from Pandicorn Gaming, we crafted a mutually beneficial offer. The result? 3 Digitos rebranded to Panda a GOGO, sponsored by both Team GOGO and Pandicorn Gaming, creating a powerful alliance in the competitive Pokémon scene.

This tournament is a highly anticipated competition for the where different countries form teams and compete to represent their nations with pride. With a history of thrilling contests, this year promises to be bigger and better.

The Origins of Unity European Cup

@Hugoausprint

The tournament initially began as a grassroots event spearheaded by Pump, a French caster and content creator, who organized the first two editions in 2022 . Pump’s passion for the Unite community and the competitive spirit made these events a huge success. However, just before the WCS 2024, Pump decided to step away from the scene, leaving a void in the popular tournament series.

To continue this exciting legacy, Unity Clash Organisation stepped in to organize their own edition of the Unity European Cup under their banner.

Nouns Esports

Exploring Nouns Esports

Nouns Esports has garnered attention since its inception, particularly after picking up the reigning Pokémon UNITE European Champion team ‘Random Gaming’ just before the 2022 Europe Regionals. That same year, they made waves as finalists, but their impact goes far beyond a single tournament. To fully understand Nouns Esports, it’s crucial to delve into their roots and their connection to Nouns DAO, the decentralized organization driving their success.

Nouns Esports

Nouns Esports: A Branch of Nouns DAO

Nouns Esports is a proud part of Nouns DAO, a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) that operates on the Ethereum blockchain. The organization creates and sells unique pixel art NFTs, or Nouns, with its governance and direction directly influenced by the Noun-holding community. Every Noun is distinctive, and the DAO's approach is creative, community-driven, and impactful.

Nouns Esports

What is Nouns DAO?

Nouns DAO is more than just an NFT project—it’s a decentralized community with a unique approach to governance and funding. Here’s a deeper look at its operations:

- Noun Creation: Nouns are generated by an algorithm, ensuring that each one is entirely unique, random, and unpredictable.

- Noun Sales: These pixel art NFTs are auctioned daily, and all proceeds go to the community treasury, which funds the DAO's projects.

- DAO Governance: Noun holders (known as Nouns) have a direct say in the organization’s future. They can vote on various proposals, initiate new ideas, and even delegate their voting power to others.

- Use of Treasury Funds: Nouns DAO funds a wide variety of initiatives ranging from charities and comic books to designer sunglasses and, of course, the Nouns Esports team.

- Inception of Nouns DAO: The project officially launched on August 8, 2021, quickly establishing itself as a pioneering force in the NFT and DAO space.

Nouns Esports

The Growth of Nouns Esports

Since its formation, Nouns Esports has expanded into various competitive gaming scenes. They’ve sponsored teams and players in major titles, demonstrating a growing influence in the world of esports. Some of the most notable games where Nouns Esports is actively involved include:

- DOTA 2

- Super Smash Bros.

- Smash Melee

- Counter-Strike 2 (Female-only team)

- Pokemon UNITE

Nouns Esports has achieved remarkable success in these fields, frequently securing Top 8 finishes in official tournaments and even winning championships. Their ability to support a wide range of games reflects their commitment to becoming a dominant force in the esports world.
