Cost
In house agencies costs less money as the company is able to give the designers the same working hours as the rest of the team whereas external agencies charge by the hour and have higher fares. An In-house agency is able to become more efficient as they can personally manage deadlines and has the ability to develop ideas with the company’s values in mind, whereas external agencies possibly don’t have the time to learn and experience how the company functions on a daily basis.

Dazed was established in 1991 focusing on the empowerment of youth culture, fashion and creativity. Lynette Nylander is the executive editorial designer with a mission to represent the times and the future. Dazed has branched out to form other publications such as AnOther which is a magazine focuses on luxury fashion.

The magazine acts as a manifesto for the times, to be inspired and informed where youth culture is prominent and where youth culture is shaping the world of fashion. They have many platforms and medium in which they publish their content such as digital were their magazine is accessible online and in printed media, making it accessible to everyone.

With an editorial agency like Dazed an editorial designer is part of a bigger team that collaborate to put together content driven campaigns that intend to inspire people who take risks, documentarians and creators who imagine to make the world a better place. An editorial designer so collaborating and communicating with teams such as social media, branding and marketing.
Also when thinking about applying to be employed with an agency it is important to think about if their morals and ethics are agreeable and creates a positive impact on society. Dazed supports youth with the development of fashion and society, correctly informing their audience whilst “moving with the times” (Dujali, 2021) with current trends and news. Dazed is driven by a strong ethos of “politics, power of youth and attitude” (Dujali, 2021)
