Dream Creative has been the highlight of my new year for the past 4 years. I had the best week learning from incredible Choreographers and hanging out with friends. The next day after the Dream Show, my Mum and I travelled to Adelaide for the very first time for Follow Your Dreams Nationals and I was fortunate to win the National Champion Dancer Title and Highest Point Scorer in 11u. Loved my 1st FYD Nationals experience!

In the holidays I attended Follow Your Dreams nationals and received Second Runner Up in Champs!! I competed in all of my solos and was so grateful to have placed in all of them! I was also so happy to have received top five highest scoring in my age. I also attended The Hustle Sessions intensive run by Tayla Curtis and i got to learn from many amazing people. Such a fun experience

Over the summer holidays I spent my time rehearsing and performing! I was a dancer in the Adelaide Youth Theatre production of ‘West Side Story’ I also competed in Follow Your Dreams 2022 National competition, where I placed top 5 in champs for U15!

I also made sure I kept up my training with Radar Technique to prepare for auditions for the 2023 Architect Squadron team.

Sophia attended Follow Your Dreams nationals in Adelaide where she got to perform her handover dance as last years champ winner as well as a limo ride and photoshoot. She then attended Project Broadway in the Gold Coast where she spent 5 days rehearsing and then performed in 2 musical shows.

I competed at FYD Nationals in my home state in the school holidays. This is my second year doing these nationals. My favourite thing about nationals was that all my friends and dance teachers could come watch. Also getting to meet new interstate friends.

My highlight was making Top 5 highest scoring soloists in my age group.”

In January I travelled to Adelaide to attend Follow Your Dreams Nationals to handover my 11U National Champion Dancer title. I was very excited to have my first trip in a limo with the other 2021 winners and we had a photo shoot at the beach. I also got to attend the Junior and Senior VIP nights and the Junior and Senior gala nights. It was very special presenting this years National Champions with their crowns, sashes and prizes. I had a great time catching up with everyone and watching everyone dance their hearts out!
