COASTAL SERENITY: A 1960S
BEACH HOUSE REIMAGINED

Nestled in a quiet oceanside neighborhood in Pompano Beach, this 1959 beach house has undergone a remarkable transformation, blending modern functionality with coastal tranquility. The outdated layout was reconfigured to maximize space, beginning with relocating the washer and dryer from the kitchen to a more convenient hallway location. This change allowed for expanded countertops, additional storage, and the integration of a much-needed dishwasher and a sleek Galley workstation. Removing the enclosing soffit opened up the kitchen, creating an airy and inviting connection to the surrounding social spaces.

Throughout the home, thoughtful design choices enhance both aesthetics and practicality. The guest bedroom now features a floor-to-ceiling built-in closet for ample storage, while the primary suite feels more expansive after eliminating an awkwardly placed closet. A harmonious palette of soft neutrals, layered textures, and ocean-inspired blues evokes a sense of calm, complemented by natural elements like live moss art, concrete sinks, and tactile wallpapers. This stunning transformation captures the essence of coastal living—where every detail contributes to a serene and rejuvenating retreat by the water.
