Viña Aresti, property of the ACW Group is one of the most famous and most prestigious wine estates in Chile. Marked by a drive for innovation and sustainability, Viña Aresti produces and commercializes several brands across the world. Agustin Castillo, Operations Manager for the property to share his vision on Aresti’s collaboration with Amcor and the use of our emblematic closures, STELVIN®.
Could you introduce yourself and tell us more about Aresti Vineyard?

“My name is Agustin Castillo and I’m the Operations Manager of Aresti Vineyard. We produce different levels of red and white wines which are consumed in Chile and other parts of the world. “

How long have you been using aluminium screw caps?
“We have been using aluminum closures for several years now. All our white wines, from varietal to premium, are sealed by an aluminium closure, and for our red wines at different levels, it all depends on the markets.
Ever since 2018, all our screw-caped wines are exclusively bottled under STELVIN®.”
Why did you choose to switch to STELVIN®?

“We chose STELVIN® because after conducting an integrated hazard and risk analysis and involving all areas of the vineyard, Amcor was without a doubt one of the best suppliers evaluated. As part of this analysis, in-depth audits were carried out on Amcor’s supply system, processes, and the overall quality of the closures. Amcor’s BRC certification is perfectly aligned with our customers’ expectations and our processes of excellence.
Additionally, the different Amcor teams we collaborate with provide first class service, and we trust their performance. When it comes to the capping process, our customers have a high level of demand and STELVIN® closures fully comply with those demands.”

In your opinion, what is the best feature of STELVIN®?
“From the producer’s point of view, the best thing about STELVIN® closures is the guarantee of the materials’ quality and their stability. On the customer side, it’s in the convenience offered by screw caps.
We chose to work with the Amcor team because of their after-sales service, their closeness and quick responses which give us great peace of mind at the end of the day.”
