The Hedrick Brothers team is honored to be a community partner for the South Florida Chapter of Xcel Strategies, a soft skills, job skills, and trade skills mentoring group for young men and women between the ages of 15 and 25.
The first Xcel Innovation and Digital Services (IDS) Mobile Training Unit was unveiled in June 2022, which features job skills and hands-on virtual design and construction training. The mobile training unit was designed by our Director of Innovation and Digital Services, Butch Carmichael. Butch, Jorge Ramos, and Vitor Da Silva serve as IDS mentors for the program. After her 2023 summer internship, Xcel graduate Karlie Victor joined the Hedrick IDS team and now volunteers as a program mentor.
