Facebook Posts Due to Tabor, Colorado is currently required to have a flat tax rate. We’re one of 5 states remaining in the nation with that structure. Initiative 31 is looking to reduce state tax rate from 4.55% to 4.40%. When it comes to taxes, the General Fund revenue would be impacted which means state-funded programs, including P-12 education, health care, public safety, etc.
