ALSO, REQUESTED THAT HE DIG AT LEAST 2 TEST PITS NEAR THE NEW DRAINLINE. THESE PITS NEED TO BE EVALUATED TO DETERMINE WHAT TYPE OF TREATMENT FACILITY CAN BE INSTALLED (E.G. STD, CF, PD, SANDFILTER) AND FOR DETERMINING NEW FACILITY SPECS. INFORMED MIKE THAT THE EFFLUENT SEWER FROM THE NEW TANK NEEDS TO BE REROUTED FROM THE NEW DROP BOX THAT HE INSTALLED TO MAKE A DIRECT CONNECTION TO THE OLD PRE '76 DRAINLINE UNTIL NEW TREATMENT FACILITY TYPE AND SPECIFICATIONS CAN BE DETERMINED. INFORMED HIM NOT TO INSTALL DRAINLINE ON REPAIR SYSTEMS UNTIL THE APPROPIATE PERMIT HAS BEEN OBTAINED AND A FIELD VISIT HAS BEEN MADE BY A SANITARIAN TO SPECIFY AN APPROPRIATE REPAIR. ALSO, INFORMED MIKE THAT I WOULD BE AVAILABLE ON 01.17.01 TO MEET IN THE FIELD TO DETERMINE THE APPROPRIATE REPAIR THAT'S REQUIRED, AND THAT HE NEEDS TO CALL ME PRIOR TO 01.17.00 TO CONFIRM THAT TEST PITS WILL BE DUG AND TO SET UP A TIME TO MEET.
