In June 2023, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) announced the commencement of a major infrastructure project aimed at relieving congestion and improving traveler safety along the Floyd Hill section of I-70. Our annual, free National Repertory Orchestra (NRO) Porch Series Concerts return to the front lawn of our office at 229 South Main Street in Breckenridge for another summer. Breckenridge Oktoberfest is a legendary annual celebration that brings a taste of Bavarian culture to the high country. This family-friendly festival features traditional German food, beer, music, dancing, set against the stunning backdrop of the fall foliage. NEW YEAR’S EVE TORCH PARADE
Covered in powdery snow and sparkling with over 250,000 twinkling lights, Breckenridge is the perfect winter wonderland for making New Year’s memories. The annual Torch Parade is one of Breckenridge’s most loved traditions. Every New Year’s Eve, skiers and snowboarders illuminate the Breckenridge ski area, carrying torches from the top of Peak 9, down to the base of the mountain. Kids are invited to participate in a special, kid-friendly Glow Worm Parade, kicking off the Annual Torch Parade.
